Hi HostLatch, First of all, I really like your service however there are a few small concerns that need clarifications before going further 1.) your main contact email is gmail which is not associated with any of your domains, reasons ....? 2.) it appears that your WHOIS info is hidden and does not show-up with any kind of web-tools, reasons ....? 3.) as you are a new company, why should I trust you to move my entire website on your sever, reasons...? 4.) you are saying, there is no oversell, then how can you explain that you are offering an 8GB RAM quad-core server for only $42, it is really to good to be true!, reasons ...? 5.) you are saying your company located in Texas, but in your website there is no physical address in the contact info, you are not even mentioning that your location is in Texas, reasons ...? 6.) in your website there is no toll-free number, actually there is no phone number to call you at all (just in case), reasons...? There are a few waiting for you to answer these questions and if you can explain the reasons then they will be more than happy to be your new customers Best Regards
Feel free to email us at or open up a support ticket for custom plans. Hello, 1. or or feel free to email us there too. 2. The whois came with the domain free, so why not? 3. We have been selling hosting since 2 years to friends and family (which means real-life and AIM/MSN messenger to friends) and since that has been doing well, we felt that we were ready and decided to start up our own website. The website is now finally made (after making/preparing it for about 3 months) and it is now fully functional and ready to sell hosting services to the public. 2 years is a long time, not a "new company." 4. THE NODE is 8 GB Ram, quad core not the VPS's. We are losing hundreds because of this, but it is only to enhance company reputation. Business is business, I gain and lose. In the future, I will gain. 5. We are located in San Jose, California and two of our servers are located in Texas, and the VPS node where you will be created in for the double-everything special, will be in Washington, Seattle. 6. I'm still trying to find a toll free number provider. We answer support tickets usually within an hour or less, so no need for one anyways. If there is anything else you need, just ask. I am here to answer your questions. Thank you, ~ Adam
Setup and updating debian now. Fast service so far, hope the performance of the box matches it. I hope you're telling the truth about not overselling. IF you are, I'll be a happy customer for the forseeable future. FINAL EDIT: One thing I'd like to see change is the ability to take backup snapshots of my VPS. It takes a little while to upgrade Etch to Lenny, so it'd be nice to either have a fully up to date image available to choose, or to make one or two backups. Minor complaint though.
Hello, Well the VPS is located in Seattle, so try downloading from a mirror in Seattle or close to Seattle. I just downloaded a mirror in Seattle and look what I got: Thank you, ~ Adam
Yep, very impressed so far. 100%[===================================================================================================================>] 66,315,285 8.73M/s in 7.2s Code (markup):
Thank you Adam for your prompt answers, they all seem to be promising. One question still remain and it is really important for everyone here, in past it happened that a new company came and offered a radicals deals but unfortunately after 3/4 months disappeared with no real contact info or a phone # to reach him, no physical address and no detailed WHOIS info. Now I know you are not such kind of non-good peoples but I guess it will make a lot of difference if you (like any other host companies) provide your company's address (that is the exact detailed address not just the city name), with a phone # even a cell-phone # is fine, for this you already mentioned that you have a live chat and a ticket support but if the whole website disappeared then everything will disappear with it!.
Hello, Yes it is. Hello, When you become a client of HostLatch, there is nothing to worry about. Your websites and data are in safe hands forever. Thank you, ~ Adam
You are asking us to trust you forever, but you always like to avoid one important question; why are you not giving us any indication where is your company located in US, I mean a complete address (not just a city name with million peoples in)? I think mentioning your company's address with a phone # (like any other reliable host company) is the minimum requirement to reassure your clients that you are serious with your business, what can we do if all of our websites including yours suddenly disappeared ? I am asking this because it happened in the past (unfortunately). Again, we are asking this because we are seriously interested in your service. Thanks,

Hello, Use the order links on the first page of this thread. It will not show up as double-specs in the order form, but when we create your VPS, it will have the double-specs. Thank you, ~ Adam
How does itrader work? I ordered from you today and I think the setup time was great, so like do I give you or do you give me?
Okay I think, I understand, here. I gave you feedback ;p. Btw the VPS is working so great still. + 1 itrader.
