$20 for a Cool Logo Design - Web TV show - Quick PayPal Pay - Bonus Guaranteed!

Hello designers,

I need a logo for a weekly web TV show called www.MyDenmarkTV.com I and buddy are starting.

Each week the show will deliver news, facts, practical tips and other fun and insightful things about Denmark to those who are coming to the country (e.g. vacation, study or work).

I need a a cool, clean and fresh logo, Web 2.0ish that will visually describe what MyDenmarkTV is.

Each episode consists of 6 parts:

1. Did you know?
2. Everyday Life
3. Culture & Food
4. Study & Work
5. Fun & Entertainment
6. Ask a Question

The show is educational, insightful, entertaining, fun and new.

I WANT: Modern web 2.0 style, colorful , easy to read text.

Some logo elements I can suggest, (but not limited to) are: a TV set, flag. There should also be a tagline that says "A Fun Way to Get To Know the Country"

I DON'T WANT: Clipart, Corporate, Copycat, Cartoonish, Dull Colors

I will provide feedback to all participating designers.

The winner will get $20 via PayPal plus a bonus. The contest will end May 8, 2009.

@ astrazone - I like your colors, but the composition of the logo is not my favorite. The elements are ok, but the fonts are not what I am looking for. Missing tagline. Please try to use creativity and alignment to match the spec. Thanks for the entry

@ owain1 - there is something interesting in your fonts. And the colors are also fresh (but definitely could be improved). Maybe you could use a little of orange. I am NOT a fan of that particular TV set. I think it does not fit with the text. Try to use a simpler set. Not necessary to use a real tv ... self-drawn can be a good option.

@ creative-rascal - I like the fonttype for the first entry. I think you definitely gave it a Web2.0ish effect. I like it. Try to give other colors to the text ... orange and blue. To give the logo a little bit of fun, try to put the whole logo in the oval area or something like that. Just wonder if you could spice it up a little bit with some fun elements while still keeping that modern and fresh look.

@ TindiRindi - Please try not to use the gray color as for the background. Only white please. Like the font but definitely think it can be improved. You could also try to use another color for the "TV" part ..perhaps orange.

I more concentrated on the Text coz it must be the first one to be given preference for an entertainment site and if u want any changes to be made to it u are welcome

@ Darioman - not fan of the color scheme you are using. The font type is too much. Too much of red and strange gradient. Sorry but this is not what I am looking for. Completely wrong direction.

@ owain1 - If I compare the first one with the second, I think there is an improvement. But overall, I still think that it can be made simpler. Maybe you want to try other fonts and that TV set looks better than the first one but still a little bit harsh. For the orange, could you use some livelier color. Thanks and look forward to the changes. You are more than welcome to change the direction a little bit by giving the logo a little bit more serious look than what it is right now.

yeah looking at my other two, the tv's did look out of place



I've changed the tv obviously, along with the colours and the font for the main title

 

@ Neonic - Overall, I like the idea, the colors etc. I have two comments for improvement. 1) can you please try to make the font a little bit more prominent i.e. make it bigger. 2) Can you try some other fonts ... also for the tagline. Try to keep it as simple as it is. My main concern is the font type. Please play with other fonts and see if anything else looks better. When you submit another entry, please make it on the white background. I just want to see how it look on the white background. (I am ok with watermark, but then try to remove the gray so that I can see better.)

 

@ gamelord - thanks for your entry. Thanks for PMs as well. Here is my feedback to your entry. The colors you use and the gradients (effects) are kind of too much for me. The flag is gray. I prefer when it is reddish (close to its original color). Font in the tagline is not original in my view. If you want to improve the entry, which I am looking forward to, you need to change your direction. Use another fonttype as well as fresher colors. And don't make too many effects, that just makes the logo look so heavy. Hope it helps and look forward to further submissions of yours.
