You should go get help on the LXA forums, as this probably isn't the best place to get help.

"Setup a default "DNS Template" with your nameservers that each domain will use. Similar records will need to be included in the DNS template.

    Example:

    ns1.yourdomain.com. - A - 12.12.12.12
    ns2.yourdomain.com. - A - 12.12.12.13
    [domain] - NS - ns1.yourdomain.com.
    [domain] - NS - ns2.yourdomain.com.

Note: "[domain]" above is an example only. It should be replaced with whatever the dynamic code Lxadmin uses in its DNS templates for a customer domain."

Disregard the above message, it might work but it would be the hard way to do it.

Create the ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com in LX and then go to Godaddy and create a custom NS where you point to the IP number you were assigned. That is all there is to it. You do not have to mess with any of the other records.

Settings in GoDaddy are easy to do. Login to your account then go to 'Domain Manager'. Select the website from your list and scroll to the bottom. On the bottom left you'll see a box titled 'Host Summery (Add)' and click the 'Edit' button to add nameserver IP's one at a time. See pic below:

When you've set the nameservers you can then use your own nameservers to point your domain at.

I don't know about LXAdmin, sorry, can't help with that one. :D

I need to correct my post above. Your1 is correct.

You do need to create the template in LX but all the values should autofill for you. It has been a couple of years since I dealt with it.

You do not need to enter any of those values at Godaddy.

Actually you would have to enter the details into GoDaddy's CP also. You would need to tell GoDaddy that NS1.YourDomain.com -> (SomeIP) and NS2.YourDomain.com -> (SomeOtherIP).
