We all know a buyer can open a dispute within 45 days of the transaction . But how is it if in the following situation . The buyer pay me $100 for me services. Then I withdraw the money($100) to my bank account . After the work is done(less than 45 days), the buyer scam me and ask a chargeback. How is the result in this situation ? Does anyone have such experiences ?
Bad situation, I don't have experience like this But I have experience with dispute and lost $900 by SCAMMER here
Well, if someone chargebacks and if he wins the case then your account balance would go in Negative ! ( - $100) But if there is not any balance in your paypal then the buyer won't get anything. - Digital -
Balance will get negative mostly.. and i think if its a service the later the charge back filed by the buyer the less chance he has to win.
If the buyer wins the chargeback, then Paypal will withdraw the money from your paypal account, even if your account goes into negative and Buyer will surely receive the money. If your paypal is verified one and a credit card is attached, Paypal would surely debit this amount from your credit card too! Regards, RightMan
they will debit ur card after the case closed or they wil email u to top up first before they debit ur card?
Too bad . Paypal actually don't protect sellers who offer their services . I was thinking it was a good way to fight against scammers .
