I have to disagree with the recent threads stating how Google is screwing it's publishers and isn't paying out enough. Even in this lousy economic climate, I'm earning record profits with Adsense and last month I made $2100 from only 3 sites. So if you think you're Google is cheating you and you're not earning enough from Adsense...then you need to think about either getting a new niche or reworking your site so you get more traffic & clicks...because the money is out there to be had...and I took a chunk of it in April. I'm already on pace to make $3000 this month...once again from 3 sites.
Probably nothing...But if you read half of the ridiculous threads about "I'm not making any money" or "Adsense is cheating me", then isn't it nice to hear once and a while that someone is using a program successfully. Nothing wrong with getting people excited and maybe a little pumped up now and then is there? We could all use a little inspiration and good news. Anywhere from a couple years..to under a year.
Hey, people are reporting they are making less. Nobody is making anything up, they're just reporting a FACT. Just as you thought it'd be productive to let us know you're not making less(thanks for that) some other people(me included) thought they'd chat with other webmasters to see if anyone else is hurting too. In my case, my sites cover 3 or 4 industries: all lower, traffic is fine, click value is ridiculous. So I'm not making this up, it's a hard fact, it's not for you to "agree" or disagree with it, it's a number, you don't disagree with numbers. Now, I didn't say Google is screwing me....I did read some comments to that extent, I disagree, but I just think it's business as usual, not "screwing" of any kind. Cold, hard fact is that my traffic is fine, visitors are fine, clicks are worth nothing...if you have a theory for what is happening, I'd appreciate your input.
I'll believe the OP if he admits he SPAMS the hell out of the search engines (and that includes buying links from everywhere possible).... It's all about scale. The problem is the MYTH, that you can start a teeny weeny blog and become a good earner after some time. And Google is very much guilty of perpetuating this MYTH back in 2006, because they wanted publishers to come on board en masse....BACK THEN. Moms and pops stand no chance, that's the reality.
You might be the luckiest one. But not all publishers fate is as good as yours in this recession time. Take example of me - right from the beginning of new year I am seeing downward adsense earnings despite the big rise in traffic.
Adsense pay better probably because of their new ad system (Related ads to the user). I am just guessing, not sure. Now, If it is good now it should be very good in the first Q of 2011. We'll see
Wow! You're earning that much ? You are very lucky. You are really doing a great job. I wish I could earn that much soon.
