Hi I am writing articles related to my website and publishing it on various article directory sites. But then if i do it, actually a same content is posted on all articles, everywhere, So Do i get the benefit of back link from them? WIll google count that as duplicate content everywhere and rejects all links? If that is true, I think article marketing is dead. What do you suggest? How do i do article marketing?
I think there's still some value in article marketing, but the great way is to individual article marketing. Instead of going through EzineArticles, find a top-notch blog that will accept guest posts. It's usually a better quality link, and there's no duplicate content issue because the article is specific to one site.
No, article marketing is not dead. However, these days article marketing should be scaled up a lot in order for you to see results. (You've got to submit to tons of article sites; unique articles.)
Clearly you are not grasping the concept of "Article Marketing". It's not about creating a page of crap to get a link then trying to post it everywhere. Why would Google reward that?

It is not true. If the article is posted on your own website from a while and Google.com already indexed it, then is no problem to post same article to other sites, because Google.com know that the article was on your site first. You will receive points from this article , the other sites where is article posted will not receive or they will but not to much. Just wait Google.com to index the article page, then wait 10-15 more , and you can post the article to other sites! And your site will not be damaged.
There have been many people that have found that even though theirs was indexed first that google returned the higher ranking site in serps!
Some times if the second or third site where the article is posted is too "Heavy" can be on better serp. But your site will be not damaged, if the article is indexed at your site first!!
article marketing is not dead at all but it is more time consuming when we talk about backlinks generation. If a person wants to create backlinks only then they choose either comment posting or discussion forum. If you want to writer an article and publish the same on 100 different directories, that's not called article marketing infact that's article spamming .
I believe article marketing it's still good, but a little 'massifyed'. You gotta spin your articles a little, make them unique and also good.
Article marketing to advertise your business isn't dead. But article marketing as a link building technique is dead. Unless you are willing to invest in creating quality content. But at that point why give the content away?
Hello Monishka, Well Same article submission in all directories are not bad but don't submit same article in more than 10 to 15 Article directories so it will be benefit able. also you can sphinn your article with article sphinner software and can submit it in multiple article directories.
What will happen if he submit same article in 150 different article websites, but with 15 different anchor text in the signature ?
it's true. If anyone wants to disagree with this, write something *really good*, make sure google indexes it on your site, then syndicate it on yahoo. And then come show us how you outrank Yahoo for your own article.
