I need help finding ways to advertise and get more visitors to this website. I've already considered the following: - Search Engine Optimization - Starting a separate email marketing campaign (like at http://www.opportunity.com/index.html) with intentions of promoting my eBook. - PPC Advertising via AdWords for the terms 'proxy guide' and 'proxy webmaster' - Advertising a lot on proxy/webmaster forums Can someone help me out?
I'm thinking of doing that, but I can only write so many articles before it gets pointless to spend money on the eBook.
You might want to try article marketing to get high quality backlinks to your website. That's the method that I am using to get targeted traffic to my website
1. Comment on tons of blogs in the "make money online" niche 2. Make your DigitalPoint signature more visible and attractive 3. Target longtail keyword phrases in AdWords instead of general ones. (For eg. how to make money with proxies, make money with proxy, guide on how to make money with proxy.) Sure, you'll get a lot less traffic, but it would probably be a million more times targeted. 4. Do article marketing and focus on buying keywords such as "make money with proxy ebook", "how to make money with proxies", "make money with proxies". The term "make money with proxies" has only 854 competitors and the term "how to make money with proxies" has 184 competitor. Sure, you won't get thousands of visitors, but the ones you do get will convert and make you money. 5. Use Squidoo. Squidoo is a goldmine if you know how to use it correctly. Build lenses related to proxies (eg. proxy tools, proxy lists) and do article submissions for those lenses then link to your site. There are tons more ways, but you should start off one by one. Oh, and it might help if you change your eBook's price to $19.95 instead of $20. Don't ask why this works, it just does.
You can try the following also: Create a short report ebook. Create an adwords campaign, giving it away in exchange for an email signup to your list. Send the list offers, including your proxy ebook. Also, load the free report with lots of affiliate links and links to your product page.

Absolutely is does count. Your best bang for your article writing buck is on ezine... I submit hundreds of articles monthly to them and get all sorts of tartgeted traffic to my sites.
Thanks, I was thinking of an email signup thing. But instead of sending an eBook, I was thinking something along the lines of '30 days to making money with proxies', where I would send different articles to subscribers over a span over 30 days, some with promotion (just not too much).
Guthix121, if you center your signature, that should make it stick out much more. You could also add statistics, eg. if you're making $134.85/day with Proxies, include that info in the sig.
How does it look? I know the amount right now isn't that high, but once I get a picture at the end of the month for higher earnings, I can increase that amount.
I already have an affiliate program, but I'm debating whether to offer it to everyone. It's only offered to buyers ATM.
