$40 logo for web development co - 3 days

We would like a clean, professional logo with a transparent background for a web development business, Intelliweb Solutions.

We're really after a corporate look. No specific colors in mind.

Were thinking of a puzzle type logo as "we put all the bits together" however open to other ideas.

Will award $40 to the winner, payment via Paypal. Contest will run for 3 days.

Note: Have previously held contests here on DP and have always awarded a winner and given timely feedback.

@gamelord: Thank you for your entry via PM. It's a pretty good entry however it doesn't have the modern feel to it which we would prefer. I think the font needs to be changed, or the text not so spread out. We're not sure how it would look however would be interested in seeing one of the 4 puzzle pieces dislodged.

@Steve136: Thanks for entering. We like the style but do have some concerns about the length of the logo - seems more like a header rather than a logo. We need a logo that can be used on the web site as well as documents, business cards, etc. Note, you can drop the tag line to reduce the size.

Also, don't forget that we're after a transparent background - previews should be on a white background so we can see what the logo would look like on a plain background/paper.

To be fair, can we ask that all entries please be made on this thread and not via PMs.

 

Thanks for the feedback, you were right - It did look a little long to be a logo.

I've removed the tag line, and moved some of the text closer together and added a mirror to the bottom of it.

@Steve136: Much better, looking good. Could you look at rotating the puzzle piece and maybe putting it in a few different locations - eg. above the "web", or above the I, even underneath the I?

@owain1: Prefer the shorter version (bottom two). I think it's missing something though - needs a bit of flair, maybe a shadow on the graphic or something?

@debitcredit: Not the type of logo we want, it doesn't have that corporate look we're after.

@gamelord: Thanks for the revision. Although it's brighter which is good, it still doesn't have that modern feel. With the recent changes you've lost the whole 3d thing. It also the same font/spacing too which we wanted changed.

@stardesigns99: I think there are too many effects on the puzzle graphic. We want a clean looking design.

@jokomamamita: Nice design. We however noticed that the puzzle piece doesn't fit the spot - it's a piece to on the edge of a puzzle, and the size of hole doesn't match - sorry for been picky!

@gamelord: Thanks for taking our feedback in to consideration. The logo is lacking that something special - not too sure what it needs though.

@rawasia: Nice, not too sure about the italics on the "solutions" though. Could you also try some alternative designs with the graphic becoming part of the "I" - eg. put it underneath the "I". Would just like to see if it works any better.
