Hey guys im looking for some honest reviews of : http://forum.triphp.com The site was taken down months ago and now its back with a new owner...........me Ive ran several webmaster communities before and realise that design isnt everything, in fact when it comes to webmaster communities the more basic it is the better ? well thats my view any way. Over the coming months im looking at putting triphp back on the map and will soon be looking for mods and super mods but i want to make sure that everything is ok before i start looking , can you all take a look around and see what you would change or add to the forum and let me know. Even sign up if you would like , everyone is welcome . All comments and criticism is most welcome.
I like! Your floating ad slides under the google ad box on the left.. Text could be a bit bigger as well. People dont realize with todays jigh resolution LCD's, everything looks small on the screen. not many people still use the old CRT's anymore.. If they do, its not the sort of "helpful" traffic you want. Dennis
Thanks for the feed back , which floating ad are you talking about ? is it the one asking to register ? , what screen res are you using ? as for me its in the center of the page ? could you show a screen shot, i may consider removing it. Also the screen shot would help me see what your fonts are like as the forum is set up the same as DP pretty much apart from the forum width.
Well designed! 1. I also agree with Wavfact, some texts are a big small. 2. Loading is normal and other things are fine. 3. Thank you for welcoming to the Forums. I hope to join later.
Thanks for the reply and hope you do sign up , can you tell me more about the test thats too small ? im not seeing it on my display or are you talking about the subcategorys ?
Nice forum. I like the layout too. Some threads though are almost a year old. Encourage more member participation or maybe hire forum posters to make the posts current. Some people may not want to join if they see some threads months older. By the way, I joined.
Well I was a member of that site and I used to go into the triphp forums everyonce in a while. I am just glad that the forum is back.
yeah that will change soon , the site was down for well over 6 months so we are now starting to rebuild everything , including the member base great to have you aboard
Nice forum. I think it is better to show the popup window for registering at the top of the forum as float window, looks better.
