How to promote new site?

Hi guys,

I made new blog (minisite). There is big competition in niche (it is about one disease).

I dont want invest in backlinks etc., I want make it as lowcost as possible

Can you give me some tips, how to promote new site like this?

I want at least few tenths of traffic per day.

Write articles and submit then to article directories,also submit your articles on squidoo.....comment on other blogs,submit your site to website directories,use social bookmarking sites.....

For blogging, use social bookmarking for a start, Digg you articles, submit them through technorati. Comment on other on-topic blogs and link back to yours. Submit your posts to article directories, remember to spin them first.

I just this out today, and I love it. Make a twitter just for the blog and twitter has tools so whenever you post to the blog it will post to twitter without any extra work.

 

I would say that you should build back links slowly, hand made, and to associate on forums and groups related to your site's theme.

 

building backlinks can be cheap or even free. it depends on how you want to go about it.

 

Write keyword rich articles on your site then write another one similar for article submission. Also, submit to social bookmarking sites for some backlinks. Post to relevant sites. Promote your site in your sig whenever you join internet marketing forums.

You can also try paid traffic.The downside is these are not quality ones.

Blogs are made for content so once you have rich content in your blog visitors will come again and again and become readers of your blogs. Once you write some good keyword rich article promote it in social bookmarking website.

For new blogs ask your readers what they likes and dislikes about your blogs and from this way you can make some changes and have a nice blog.

Maybe try some viral marketing techniques like 'Tell Friends' script or give away 'Free Ebooks' with links back to your site..

 

Create a feedburner feed and submit your feed to feed directories with software like rss announcer or rss submit...

Digg your post and also use more social bookmarking to improve backlink...

Create some free blog account on wordpress, blogger, blogspot,etc...copy random article from your blog with linking back to your main site...

Build a twitter account and post your blog content there with some twitter plugin (if you're using wordpress)
