The loaded redirect page using a page with JavaScript in it that redirects to our main domain. Code to make a redirect couldn't be simpler it uses windows location property. <script language="JavaScript"> windows location="URL to real main page"> </Script> so if b.com, c.dom, d.com ---redirects to--->a.com how much will that help?
If you're implementing redirects with JavaScript then it will not help at all. The only way redirecting b.com, c.com, d.com to a.com will help will be if: 1) the redirects are 301 redirects and 2) if b.com, c.com, and d.com have inbound links If b.com, c.com, and d.com do NOT currently have content relevant to a.com then the only thing you will get out of the redirects will be a little PR. It's not going to help a.com rank better for any keyword phrases. However, if b.com, c.com, and d.com DO currently have content relevant to a.com then you CAN also get a boost in rankings, but it requires more than just a domain level 301 redirect. You'll need to redirect each individual URL with backlinks on b.com, c.com, and d.com to the URL on a.com whose content most closely matches the content currently found at the URL on b.com, c.com, and d.com. This way the link text for inbound links to the URLs on b.com, c.com, and d.com will have the best chance of being applicable for the page found at the target URL of the redirect. If b.com, c.com, and d.com are currently banned or penalized, I would recommend NOT redirecting them to a.com regardless of whether they are relevant or not to the topic of a.com until the ban or penalty has been lifted.
effectivepublishing, effectivewebpublishing and effectiveonline publishing contaisn the required keywords in it without effective others are keywords but brand name is different klatcher so is that case redirecting above .com domains to klatcher dot com can help? or klatcherpublishing, klatcherwebpublishing and klatcheronlinepublishing dot coms redirects to klathcer dot com which one will be more helpful? Thanks
None of the above are going to help unless they have inbound links preferably with link text that klatcher.com wants to rank for.... When Google finds a 301 redirect from b.com to a.com, they give a.com credit for all of b.com's inbound links (from a PR and link text perspective) AND they remove b.com from their index. So unless b.com has inbound links with link text like "Effective Web Publishing" then a.com is not going to get any help ranking for phrases like "effective web publishing". If these are new domains that you are thinking of purchasing just to redirect to klatcher.com then you will get NO PR benefit and NO ranking benefits.
So what is your best suggestion for ranking klatcher.com for publishing, web publishing and online publishing as clients want the website in top ten within the first month even though search volume is too high?
The way to rank it for those keyword phrases is to get inbound links with those keyword phrases as the link text... preferably from relevant pages on other sites that also rank for those same keywords... but if you cant find those, then having inbound links with those keyword phrases will boost your rankings. I'm assuming that you have alreay optimized pages on your site for those keywords. Inbound links probably carry more weight than anything else in the ranking algorithm at Google... especially if from relevant pages AND having those keyword phrases in the link text.
So press release + social bookmarking how much it can help? Still work to be done on on-page optimization. free press release+ low cost press release and social bookmarks websites are helping a lot. One way directory submission can help as well. You are master in this at already. can u estimate how long it can take to bring this site to google top ten against web publishing and self publishing, online publishing and publishing ?
