Youre probably right, but never the less, some passive income can be made from it, so you might as well just use it. Also, I read a thread here, someone said that he was getting a couple of bucks a week regularly from this method, because he had started some threads which had many views , replies.

 

The best way to make money on DP is to take action. Reading doesn't pay very well.

I'll add that a decent post count is more than just firing off posts that state "Thanks for the tip!" and short sentences for the sake of boosting post count.
Contribute to others by helping them find answers, perform as an ethical business person and generally be a part of the solution rather than a problem outright.

That will boost reputation and will lead to an overall good faith among members.
