How did you first hear about Adsense?

How long did it take you to realise Google paid money to have adsense on your site from its inception date?

I know some people had no idea about adsense for up to 2/3 years despite being interested in webmastering and being a frequent surfer.

 

My story is even more pathetic. I was accepted into AdSense near the beginning of the program. After a lengthy period of inactivity, Google phoned me and asked if I needed help getting going. After another five or six months, I finally got going. Total delay -- 12 to 18 months.

 

i'm not sure exactly when i caught on to adsense but i might be one of those people.

 

i heard from my friend
" i was like what is adsense"
and then i read across the faq to understand it properly.

 

When was it launched ?

 

I got Adsense account in June 2004 and after almost 2 years, I am actually looking into it. After reading articles and forum and blog posts that how people are making big money with Google Adsense.

Well I got to know about Adsense while learning SEO tips.

 

I think I caught on to it through other websites.

 

I've had it for almost a year now. Still waiting to get rich though :-P

 

I think a lot more people will know about adsense sooner now that asdense referral banners are pasted on so many sites, encouraging people to sign and start earning money from their sites.

 

Alas,

I was not a Internet marketer at that time. I got it just last year.

So bad....Is not it.
