Fine to be duplicate as long it is not "copyscape detected"

    I think so many us already know that unique and copy scape free content is important in Google SERP consideration,well today I install "special plugin at my wordpress and then I found my site is 100% clean from duplications"well I know I am not "free from duplication because I also quote some words from wikipedia"well my question is "since my "undetected duplicated with copyscape algorithm is this still good for my "unique content value for my site to get More authority or Google respect"?

    its impossible to say as google have their own algorithm to detect copied material! If you quote from other websites, say so. Never take copyscape as the be all and end all in copied content, its not worth trying to second guess Google when rankings are at risk now is it??

    copyscape is nothing to do with google. Although it does use the google api to generate its results. It's a plagiarism detection tool that uses a very simple shingling technique to spot lifts.

    It seems it is best to just write original content and not have to even worry about it! I mean then you know you wont have problems.

    The issue come if you're a good writer.... as others may take your original content and duplicate it... :confused: :mad:

    thanks for all response,although I use plugin that now make all my page "free copyscape"I dont think I can escape when 100% of my site is copy and paste from wikipedia and about tools from this tools:http://www.contentboss.com/pass-copyscape.php this tools is not that good,my "magic articles fiil with character like this (&#100) what is this ,this is junk and ofcourse you give this warns:
    because all the article cannot be read properly and I think ,my finding plugin >far more advance than this one

    I think it won't be good to copy content if the page is indexed in google already.
    Duplicate content effects your SERP and it's always advised to write unique content or at least rewrite :p
