Is there any easy way to improve Page Rank? I see that it's very important and it helps to get better google positions. The problem is that you need backlinks and the only tips I see on the net is that you should get backlinks. So is there any easy way to get backlinks or do I need to find blogs where I can add my url? I've seen some submitters but they all cost money, is there anything free?
Remember that it isn't just about the number of backlinks but quality as well. If you get backlinks from high PR sites and authority sites you won't need as many to raise your PR as you would if you were only being linked to from PR0 pages.
Yes, I do know that but I would like to start somewhere at first and low pr pages seems to be a nice first step. Right now I do not have many backlinks at all and have PR0 blog although I get visitors from google and all that.
Well, we need a bit more information to be able to give you more specific advice. What type of niche is your site? What is your site format? Is it a blog? Depending on these two factors there are a few ways you can go about it - - Exchange links with high PR sites from your same niche on your blogroll/recommended sites, etc. - Build backlinks with higher PR blogs that permit do-follow linking under comments (relevant, of course) Those are two simple things you can start with, but I'd like a bit more information first...
well everybody loves to have a great Google PR but it is not achieve easily...courage and a good research about seo is good advantage.
Hi, I got a blog at blogspot and I have done some code modification so that it's more seo friendly. I also submitted the site to 2 directory with pagerank 3 and 5. Hopefully it helps but I feel that it will take a while to reach each page rank level.. Is it harder to get from page rank 1 to 2 than 0 to 1?
Increase your traffic and get high pr back links with relevant sites... __________________ SEO Services
Two directory links aren't going to cut it unfortunately. There are plenty of automated bookmarking services to get links, such as Bookmarking Demon 4. But you have to be careful to not use them in an overly spammy way or you'll get flagged. Think about it this way - you need more backlinks than your competitors. Check how many backlinks some of your competitors have by using Yahoo Site Explorer. It isn't completely accurate, but will give you somewhat of an idea of how many backlinks you need. Also one can't just get a bunch of links and then stop - links should be trickling in at a consistent rate.
Is there any easy way to improve Page Rank? If consistent and dicipline for submitting a website to directories, link exchange, blog posts, forums called as an easy way, then here it is. PR and Googlle position ? I found some website with no page rank get the 1st page of Google. So, for me, getting high ranking in Google is not about PR, it's about meta descriptions, title, keywords, and wording.
PR and serps are two different things and OP is interested in only a good PR. OP can perhaps start by commenting on do-follow blogs that belongs to its own niche. It is one of the easiest way to build backlinks, but be careful to make a relevant comment or else,it will not be approved and would be a waste of time! Regards, RightMan
get high pr back links. you will get the traffic and PR do, forum posting using signature blog comment posting, article submission, directory submission, social bookmarking, .....
High PR backlinks will help you to get PR. Try to get links from high PR blogs and do link exchange with high PR sites.
Social Bookmarking, directory submission, posting comments on do-follow blogs... these are just some of the strategies you can use to build back links. Google loves fresh contents.
Th OP is asking about increasing his "Page Rank" whick will not necessarily get him/her more traffic if the links are placed on irrelevent sites. If I am on a travel site and see a link to a site about "Las Vegas Vacations" I am more likely to click on that link to go to the Las Vegas vacations site than if I am on that same travel site page and see a link to a site that is selling carborators for '56 Chevrolets. If I were you, I would stop worrying about "Page Rank" and start worrying about 1) Increasing targeted traffic to your site and 2) Increasing the rankings of your targeted keywords in the SERPs. Both of the above do depend in part on getting links from other sites... But those links do not need to be high PR links. The PR of the site that is linking to you is really irrelevant to how much traffic they will send you. And PR is not really that important in Google's ranking algorithm anymore. It's a very minor factor now days. Having links from relevant sites (even if PR0) with relevant link text is MUCH more important than having a link from a high PR site that is irrelevant and/or has crappy link text. And good PR0 sites outrank PR6,7,8 sites everyday in the SERPs. I will take 100 links from relevant PR0 sites with relevant link text over 100 links from irrelevant PR5 sites with "click here" as the link text any day... because my URL with 100 inbound links from relevant PR0 sites and good link text will outrank a URL with 100 inbound links from irrelevant PR5 sites with "click here" as the link text every day of the week. Assuming that you have good content for visitors when they actually get to your site, these two things will make your site much more successful (however, you measure success... unique visitors, sales, whatever...) than having a PR8 show up in your Google toolbar. Then once you start bringing lots of visitors to your site, other sites will start linking to you naturally... it's kind of a snowball effect once you hit critical mass. Having a high PR is only important if you're trying to sell links on your site so you can inflate the price of those links far above what they are really worth when selling them to unknowledgable webmasters. PS: Getting a link from a directory with a PR5 home page does not mean you have a PR5 link. The PR of the page that links to you determines how much PR is passed to you, not the home page's PR (unless your link is ON the home page). And the directory is not going to link to you from their home page. You'll be linked to from a page probably 4 or 5 levels deep in their directory structure. There is no guarantee that the page that links to you from that directory is even indexed. And it if is NOT indexed, Google won't count that as a link.
do a lot of blog commenting to relevant sites and participate to popular SB sites such stumble, digg, propeller and reddit..
I'd recommend bookmarking demon for this. Unfortunately, my pc got busted, and all i have now is my macbook. I can't run BMD anymore.
