because a lot of people are using these proxies for illegal activities. Sooner or later your ISP will be talking to the police and it's not really pleasant. It's a liability and people don't want extra trouble and money spent in the courts.
yup totally agree. may be they aware of this and its purposeful attempt to make users are using non proxy than a proxy to browse their sites
My glype works fine. I visited G and clicked the result. I activated my javascript option. I use old glype (i guess 1.0)
today i received a submission to thunderprox from yet another fool who thinks that all other webmasters are fools http://www.ultimode.co.uk/ was the proxy submitted. he has submitted to many proxy lists and have hidden the links notice the div tag at the footer <div style="display:none;"> HTML:
I use both phproxy and glype. I don't know why glype is very slow to load and phproxy is just fine. Is it true glype is slower? I alreadY enable hotlinking and set load limitter.
Thanks for this I just sent him a nice email. PS: When I search Google, I get something like: http://www.google.com/search?q=test I'm not getting any of the #
i recently started a proxy 4days back and had over 10k visitors to it and today i noticed that the traffic dropped to just 200visitors for whole day. when i tried surfing through it i came to know that someone has reported it as a phishing site has this happened with anyone before? does anyone knows anyway to get out of it? its one of my best domains and i have spent alot of money on building and promoting it although i have reported to google that its not phishing site still all suggestions are welcomed as i am loosing money on it everyday edit : just noticed that there are some more of my proxies which are being shown in firefox and google chrome as phishing sites which were just created 1 or 2 days back
Hmm, as of today Facebook no longer works on my website It was working yesterday, I also just bought a new VPS and still didn't work. I think it's a URL issue not a block issue. It works until you log in, then the page goes blank. PS: Just tried on a CGI proxy and didn't work either.
Facebook has also been having problems for me with my proxy... also tried the CGI one and that didn't work
oops and how did they report it as a phishing site ? also i think it must be reported ,bye +10 visitors , not 1 , cause in this way all websites could be black listed there !
Probably there are some people sending phising emails. The users report the phishing emails coming from you (domain and ip ) then this phishers search for new proxies daily not blocked for phishing.
Maybe the proxy users are phishing using your proxy. I had this happen awhile back when I had a large network of proxies, my hosting company let me know as they received some reports. Soon after that I just ditched most proxies.
Did you get google warning page? If so then just check your files (e.g. index.html/php) for weird code. Then, scan your server and harden it. I once got injected by some code which happened to exist on my html files and after cleaning it, report it back to google and the warning page was gone.
The phishing thing can be caused probably if someone is hotlinking your proxy to mask a phishing site. Make sure you have good hotlinking ON. I've come across instances of people using my proxies to mask phishing sites on Craigslist. But the anti-hotlinking would ruin their plan for that. And also in your robots.txt make sure you have the Rule to make sure Search engine bots are not allowed to crawl your proxy and mirroring other peoples sites the serps. that be could seen as phishing too. If someone lands on that and goes to login to there site and notices its a proxy page. They might report it as a rogue phishing page floating in the serps. But lastly for whatever reason the person who used your site may of felt like there phished after your using proxy. (They didn't trust your proxy) and reported it.
yeah it could have been reported by over 10+ people i am sure its not because of that iframe injection thing that recently occured but i am sure as Dollar said its because of hotlink protection. I had disabled hotlink protection on it earlier just to test how it will work out as this is the first time i am going to monetize proxified pages. Now i have turned back on the hotlink protection and hope no more proxies will be blocked in such way. A little greediness may lead to curse . Now can you guys please help me out in knowing in how to get rid of this problem? loosing too much money on it day by day as i have advertised it alot and was supposed to get over 100,000 visitors within next month.
hey how to use Tech-Faq.com coupons i got one from will spenser ( thanks to him ) do i need to buy one in the site or just use that coupon ? proxified this is so sad these fukcing morons stealing our hard work.
you can just goto tech-faq.com register there for a username when submitting proxy it will ask you whether you have a coupon or not. just enter your coupon code and press "next" and your proxy will be submitted. and we find such morons every now and then, hope sometime they understand hard earned money is the only thing one can digest
do i need to enter 10 proxies at a time or will it remains in account if i submit just one proxy btw i guess its better to disable mail.yahoo.com , gmail.com , hotmail.com etc domains in the proxies to avoid spams
