Supid question. You can get easily 5 USD per month for 1 link, but it depends from the website, niche, traffic, possition of links, website design and so on. Important is the number of links on the wbsite and also the number of external links. Google bot usualy count all links on the website, not only external links.
Such calculators are so unuseful, they are telling to some websites prices, which you can get too hard, and for another too low prices.

PR means nothing you need to be able to prove you are getting the traffic at the very least a few thousand hits a month, but really a link worth spending money on the website is getting 50,000 unique hits monthly. Remember it does not help to reach PR 10, but to get traffic they are not one in the same.

I own a PR3 forum and I have a guy paying me $30/month for his link on our homepage. The link is just under the welcome box at talk-baseball.com. I think I just got lucky though because the guy just contacted me out of the blue and I had made no previous efforts to try and sell links.

The algorithms for link pricing are taking into account, the PR only, as of now, though they say they are taking alexa rank, quantcast ranking data, traffic etc. etc. but PR is the main deciding factor for pricing a link. The site which allows you to sell the links will have a in-built calculator suggesting how you can price the links. Just use that, and you will do fine

That tool sucks. It says it uses different factors to determine but I checked a few different sites with same PR that had different criteria per there determining factors and they all were the same price.

looks like backlinks and traffic play an important factor in determining the price, i get around 17k impressions on 1 site in the 'computers and internet' niche with 3 different backlink checking tools showing 600,600,922 backlinks, can you give me a good link price for that?

i have another site getting around 1.5k impressions a month with backlink tools showing 363,442 backlinks, a software indexing site, how much would a link be worth there?

I just need estimates as i'm new to the whole link selling concept.

true i tried it for two of my sites which vary a lot in value and got the same price.

I think it will depend on the niche and your daily traffic too :)

People are willing to pay more money if it's worth the investment. And it will also depend on the location too. Is it a footer link, sidebar link, sitewide link, just homepage, or specific webpage?

If I get a link from PR3 website and the page has pr0 I'll pay nothing if page PR is 3 I might pay $1 a year, some people will pay about 20 though but they're stupid.
If you have a site which is PR3 you must be getting some traffic and thus I believe you could get more money by signing up to some affiliate networks and getting money from them.
Like if you have financial website I believe if you place HSBC ad you'll get more (much more) money from HSBC than selling links.

    Yes it depends!
Buyer want to know how related your site is with his site.
And also how many link spots are for sale...i would not buy even for a buck
if there are hundreds of outgoing links from that same page...

A link selling price usually differ because there are several factors that buyer will consider whether or not to pay you that much of money. Option1: A site which has PR 3 but little traffic(less than 500 per month), and Option 2: a site which has PR1 with massive traffics(more than 100,000 traffic per month). Which one will you choose if you are an advertiser?

If the advertiser think that massive traffic is worth the money he is paying for, somehow he would pay $100 per month for the 2nd option (That is $0.001 for 1 traffic). It will be really worthwhile for him.

If a person is just want to improve his page rank, then he might consider to choose the first option just to earn his website's PR juices.
