Yes, we know, Dave. Your entire contribution to DP has consisted of you bragging about how much you make without doing a single second of work. Frankly, I don't know why a guy who makes so much money doing absolutely nothing would bother wasting his time with us schmucks...
Why thank you for that excellent comment. It has motivated me to continue working on my adsense empire! If you want a little hint it consists of me entering a keyword phrase and fully creating a blog with on-topic content for me with 1 click.
The writers of those ebooks are following a trend that tons of people use to make lots of money: They find a need, and then they fill it. I have only suckered into one of the adsense books, and it was filled with blackhat information that would surely get you banned by adsense. The guy who wrote the book even had a section on that. He said, "if you get banned, take your losses, and then start a new account." Personally, I would rather not have to do the same development work over and over again to get to the goal. Besides, I have a solid reputation to uphold. Bill Platt
Couldn't have said it better myself..there's no holy grail. Success with adsense involves many factors.
DG? TE? RSS2B? SEO Autopilot? What ban rate are you getting? I always thought that method was a little too much feast and famine..
I'd stopped auto-generating sites for more than 6 months (used Ranking Power - not available on the market now). I'd say about 70% of generated topics (as in subdomains, domains or subdirectories) never yielded a single cent, or put hundreds of dollars each into my pocket before being deindexed. Today, through no effort on my part (and definitely not due to any ingenius ideas of mine), some sites keep chugging along, getting visitors from Yahoo, Ask or MSN. The sites that continue to survive are on very obscure topics with very little competition (which probably explains their survival). Anyway, I've purchased a handful of generators in the past few months, tempted to go back to auto-genning every now and then, but lurking in the forums for those products tell me that the attrition rate is higher than ever, and only a few actually make good income off them. It's white hat sites for me now.
I see allot of people saying theres no adsense secrets. Well i agree in a generic sense, but there are lots of bits of little known info out there. And to answer why do people share adsense info, well. I think people only share to a degree. Not everyone one tells everything. I think there are many times more readers than posters.
Perhaps some people who are selling these ebooks are infact big earners. Ebooks are another way of diversifying theri income and adding to their cash pile. However, there are also many others that simply want to make a few bucks to compensate for their lack of earnings through adsense. The best thing to do would be to get all your adsense info right here. You pretty much get instant answers as well.
Well, I think some AdSense books are good. I'm sure they simply discuss placement techniques and other ways to improve CTR. But if someone says how they're making thousands of dollars a month from it, and do that whole schmeal where they say "Don't you want to have a boat... live in a big house..." and stuff like that that takes up half the page, it's a scam.
I also purchased one such ebook. I spent the money I earned from my Adsense account on this ebook, but I could not find anything new as most of the points mentioned in that ebook are all known methods and you will find them easily on posts and forums like DP.
Nah we wrote our own in php / c / c++ using API's from WHM and Cpanel. Theblogsolution stuff gets filtered by google, sorry for everyone who uses it. Have you even seen an example of the blogs that thing makes or tried the trial for it..?
Hey, FWIW, thanks for the tip! I didn't even know about the existence of WHM and Cpanel APIs. Regarding TBS, I actually bought the thing, and it does seem quite powerful in terms of its interface. We can actually modify the template pretty heavily to eliminate footprints and / or add tons of stuff so that the end result looks like a legitimate site, but I haven't really tried going that far - too exhausted to put auto-gen sites thru trial and error. Anyway, some green stuff for you - thanks!
Perhaps we should get wordy - there're no AdSense secrets if everbody knows them I'd say there're more commonly used methodologies and less commonly used methodologies (tautology, anyone?).
There are no secrets to adsense but some of these courses do offer some great advice and have helped me a lot. I have a rule for myself if it doesnt have a 100% refund I will not buy it. If it is helpful I keep it if not I get my money back.
