He is blogging from years and he is top blogger who gets lot of visitors per day. He is AdSense premiere publisher which get many extra features to customize ads.
i find that a little hard to believe, unless you mean that he is getting that for more sites than just labnol.org. according to google, 10 lakh (1,000,000) indian rupees = $20,000 according to quantcast, he is getting 350k visits/month. its hard to get global traffic, but lets say he does twice that or 700k/month. to make $20k, he would have to make 2.8 cents per visit. although 2.8 cents per visit is theoretically possible, i am skeptical that he is making that because he is not too aggressive with his ad placement. when you look at his blog posts, you can see that the first ad unit is well below the fold. i recently read in answers.com quarterly report (they have to disclose their numbers because they are a public company) that they make about 2 cents per visit... and they are VERY agressive with their ad placements. also, because of their massive traffic, they certainly have a great revshare deal with google. so, unless quantcast underestimates the traffic (which is very possible), or you are talking about his _network_ of sites, i am a little skeptical.
