As you all might be aware that Google video discontinued its service, this was one of the best service for me since they did not had any restrictions on the size and length of the video. Youtube does not accept videos which are more than 10 minutes in length. I have regular videos to upload which are basically 60-80 minutes in length, so i split them into 2 or 3 and upload them on google. Now i am in a fix, please suggest me some good video uploading sites which does not restrict the length and which has a desktop uploader.
I have my videos on Youtube, Vimeo, Viddler, Revver, Blip.tv and Dailymotion For what you suggest I HIGHLY recommend Blip.tv They have EXCELLENT quality settings, allow HD, and large large filesizes. Also, what makes it a TON easier than the others, especially for large files, is that you have FTP access to upload your files, and you don't have to rely on a browser-upload. I find this very very comforting, and it's something the others OUGHT to offer. Check it out, it's free, customizable and a great service I'm more than happy with.
You know what they say... the oldest tricks are the best tricks. =) How is the userbase on Blip.tv comparatively?
the userbase is mostly professional content-creators. It doesn't have a massive walk-through traffic, but that's not it's goal, most shows are available for download, or embedded on the uploaders website. The purpose of Blip.tv isn't to be a video viewing site, but a video hosting service. BUT, like I do, I upload to Youtube and Dailymotion as well, which both have great walkthrough traffic, but not as good uploading or quality. Try them all out and see for yourself, but honestly do check out Blip.tv Hope this helps!
