Here are my latest Landscaping/Lawn Maintenance Websites. Let me know what you guys think. http://www.greenmilelandscape.net/ http://www.trilliumpropertyservices.com/
Excellent sites. Very well formatted, and plenty of content. I should really be asking you for advice, not the other way around.
this one would look much better if you move the footer graphic (the grass) to the very bottom. And yes, out-of-the-box layouts are the new web trend.
I'm a huge fan on landscaping projects and landscaping sites. To be honest, the greenmilelandscape.net/ site is one of the best designed sites I've seen in a long time. Very easy on the eyes. Well done!
Here's a landscaping site somewhat different presentation but plenty of content: www.owenchubblandscapers.com
hey Owen, reply my message. I have done my job, waiting for your feedback after 2 revision. Be professional!
I Like both, but I have two minor suggestions for the trillium one. One, as stated above, move the bottom graphic of the grass to the bottom. Two, I think you should make the links on the right (LEARN ABOUT OUR SERVICES, REQUEST A QUOTE) a different color than the rest of the text on the page. It will make them stand out and the user will find them a bit faster. Great Work!
They ain't got nuthin' on this-here profeshinul lanscapin' site. Hyuck hyuck. Though in all seriousness, please please please don't put light grey text on a white background and expect readers to squint and play with their monitor settings to be able to read it. Or are you only aiming at the eagle-eyed 17-25 demographic? They don't tend to own or care about lawns. Not a big fan of the kind of garbage Dreambeaver poops out-- all that MMswap stuff should be done in CSS and the menu should be a proper list of links and blah blah blah... headers should be headers and all that... design-wise, I luv the Trillium page, though there's something odd with the text. The typography's off. But the letters are nice and big and readable. The grass is also a nice touch at the bottom.
While I'm not in the landscaping business I like the clean cut uncluttered way the site looks. I"m developing a new site that will be called www,BestPoles.com/ It will be to sell fishing poles and rods to be used in small streams in North Eastern USA. Two will be "the Gorge" the other "Muscognetcong" I''ll also sell custom made rods. There will be a "store" for stuff like reels, lines, leaders, dry flys, lures, tackle boxes, wading boots etc.. I'd want a home page and I've already picked some photos from www.istockphoto.com/ plus about 9 more pages with photos with the ability to add more in the future. I'll write the content. Could you give me and idea of cost to set it up and get it running? Ted Adams owner TVADAMS&CO,LLC
I think the second one looks great - and take into consideration teh before mentioned suggestions.. Seriously though, it seems like all site are using the same template. What is up with that?! I say that you keep with this out of the box thinking! It's good.
Ted - Sorry about the delay on this, I haven't logged onto DP in a while. Were you still interested in using my services for this project, or for anything else on your plate? Thanks, James M. Plouffe JamesMichael Solutions
