No Need To Submit Url To Other Search Engines

Save yourself time by not submitting your URLs to Yahoo, MSN or AOL... I have 5 domains with great placement on Yahoo, MSN, and AOL and guess what, they are bringing me 0 traffic!!!

Only Google....

I kinda find this hard to believe due to the simple fact that people still use IE!!! If there are noobs still using IE, then wouldn't those same noobs be using Yahoo, MSN and different search engines other then Google?

 

My opinion if we want to save our time, no need to submit to any search engine. Straight to concentrate on get backlink from high PR site. Our website will be indexed faster.

 

Yep, likewise. At least 95% from google, despite number one placement on yahoo/live and page 2 on gogole for the same term.

 

Yes that is true, it is not going faster by ordering fast submit to searchengines..

Make sure your site is indexed by google and you will be listed everywhere

 

its not wise to submit to any of them, let them find u first....

 

To the people whining about only getting traffic from Google....obviously you just don't know how to optimize for the other search engines. Don't say they are not worthwhile just because you can't manage to get traffic there. If you know what you're doing, Yahoo can count for 10-20% of your traffic and msn can count for up to 5-10%. You do not have great placement on yahoo, msn and aol if it is giving you zero traffic.

 

I will have to agree with Van on this. Honestly, I stopped second guessing what people search. They can search for anything.

An interesting test that can help you is
1- Find out what keywords people used when they came via Google.
2- Run that search in Yahoo, MSN, etc.

and see how you rank.

 

I like MSN traffic alot.. Peopel using it know 0 about internet and click aads like crazy

 

Correct, I wish I could rank in MSN.

 

If anything happen to your ranking on google, you might need backup traffic from other source, especially Yahoo.

 

I think all that other link back beside Google only meant for cheer ,I agree that there is no serious treatment there

 

yes one search engine take data from other search engine, so no need to submit each and everyone.

 

Valid point here, submitting is something used previously, but not now. Building a backlink does the job beautifully (it just has to be one crawled frequently enough).

 

I think every search engine do some amount of traffic.
If you got time, you must at least submit all your sites to all popular search engines.

Google is the main face, but other sites too give same traffic (not much)
