Hello I'm living in constant fear.. because I have many google custom search engines. I'm afraid someone might put a link on other sites for search results from one of those search engines. I think this is not allowed by adsense!!! So I'm afraid someone might do so and I will get banned from adsense. I thought it is better if I create new search engines from outside adsense. I tried that but it does not give me the option to display results within my sites. Should I delete those search engines and live without fear ?!! Any thoughts ?!!
if you are in fear then YES...why you put it there and you worry about it? remove it and have better night sleep
you can choose which sites should display your Adsense account. have a post about how not to get ban from adsense, you might want to check it out.
You shouldn't live in fear. Why would anyone link to those CSE? They won't get any profit from it. Creating the engines from Google CSE site, it's possible to place the results in your own site. Check the control panel after creating the site, you just missed it
Dude, I am just reading these forums to gather info on adsense communities and the ONLY reason I registered today was so I could post a response to you. I have read posts from several helpful people in these forums. I have read posts that border on rude as well and for some reason I can pretty much count on seeing a rude, arrogant, and otherwise condescending comment whenever your username is present. Get off your high horse, you are not doing THAT great. Some of us are doing worse and others doing much better than you. The fact that your need to dig at people is so strong tells me a lot about you. But you don't care right? Jerk FYI I most likely won't be coming back here so save your reply for someone who cares.
Thank you guys for the insights. I'm hesitant to delete those search engines simply because "They Make Money". My fear was mainly because I have things like ebooks search engine and online markets search engine and the like, which search in many sites. I was afraid that some people might put direct links to search results in order to make a comparison or somthing or give someone - who is searching for something - a results url .. This happens a lot with Google search, so it might as well happen with Google custom search.
