Number of BackLink Fluctuating

hi

i am unable to understand how a site gets backlinks, and what this number keeps on fluctuating... is there a process to know what made your number of back links go high and what brought it down.
Please guide your suggestions will be really helpful.

There is a process to increase backlinks. I think you know the SEO off-page optimization.If you do the process regularly you can increase more number of backlinks for your site and page rank also. We can not give the guarantee for the back links.some times it may increase and decrease in backlinks. But It doesn't matter.
Better you promote your site in high page rank sites and you can get easily more number of backlinks and increase in page rank also.

 

Google wants us to create information rich content and when someone finds your content useful they will add a link on their site to yours. This is called a backlink.

You have 2 way links where 2 websites exchange links with each other.

You have 1 way links. (If you have good useful niche content people will like it and people will automatically link to you)

Now, Search Engines Algorithms put a priority on links with keywords. This is called Anchor Text.

If you have a website about iPhones, try and get relevant websites to add a link to your website with iPhones in the actual link.

TIP: The best practice is to have your keywords in your domain name. From my experience, this helps a lot. Because some webmasters don't understand Anchor Text (you'de be surprised).

I must be doing something wrong....

I have at least 20 websites with my link on it and 2 that are actually ranked... Why is it that when i search for backlinks on google, only 2 results come up? One result is actually my website!!!!

 

Google only shows PR4 + websites that have a link.

I've stopped using google to check for links, it's not accurate.

I use Yahoo site explorer instead, it shows all the links.

 

Its actually showing a PR3 website... But yes this must be the reason as the other two are only PR1's

You can also check your website backlinks with Google WebMaster Tools,
sign into your account, under Links tab, you will find 2 new extra links:

External links Pages on your website that have links pointing to them from other sites.
Internal links Pages on your website that have links pointing to them from other internal pages.

its not true , i have site with pr0 and have site with pr5 ... but i have more back links on pr0 site nor on another one

Baclinks are constantly gets updated.
I'd suggest you to check with either GWT or Yahoo Site Explorer.

 

I'm not sure it's about pr. The selection seems to be more of the random kind.

 

I've heard that backlinks don't even work. The only thing that I heard matters is the traffic. Is that true?

 

Backlinks will help your PR and then the traffic.

 

Not pr3 either pr4 its f**** random when this will stop written in forums make tests to proove it.

 

Based on the importancy of BL google will dispaly it.. if getting bL from forums or dir this will not be long lasting.. amy be on the next update the BL wil bem droped... so always better is reciprocal or buy BL from the index page... Age of BL is very important factor
