When is the Domain Available After expiring?

    I found a domain,which is quite fit for my niche.The domain is already registered.but the domain expired ,ie Current owner doesn't renewed the domain.Seems he is ready to drop.


    When can i get the domain to register? how many days i have to wait for the domain after expiration.

    Advice needed.

    i think about 20 days. However some registrars keep the domain for another year with them incase the orignal owner needs it back :p

    mate but 20days are past. now also the domain is waiting for renewal.

    How many days will godaddy keep the domain?

    After the domain expired.
    It will takes 80 days before you can reregister the domain.
