Trouble getting indexed

Usually when I make a site it's indexed within 24 hours max, however with my new site, it's been 4-5 days, and I haven't been indexed.

I uploaded a valid sitemap to Google Webmaster tools.
Made sure my robots.txt was good to go
    Submitted my site via google.com/addurl
Put up adsense (Thought maybe it would make them crawl it faster)
Made sure my site is html/css w3 valid
I have tons of backlinks from social bookmarking sites
The site is indexed by msn/live search

So why is it taking so long ><?

Add your site to Digg.com and google will pick it up very quick.

It took me about a week before google picked up my sites. If you want your site picked up right away, do just like everyone else said. Get your site some back links and Google will pick it up in no time.

Normal submission to google may take up to 2 months to be indexed. You can try to submit it to Digg, or blog it.

As I stated above, I've submitted to digg (6 pages actually), and to multiple other social media/social bookmarking sites.

Last couple of weeks I've been updating an inner page of my site. It's upsetting that from then until last week it's cache page still the same. But when I check it yesterday, it was cached with a bonus of PR2.

Maybe on your case, just continue your regular routine on working on your site, and hope soon you're gonna receive good results, too.

They say that patience is a virtue.

4-5 days is still not too long to wait, you may have been fortunate to have other new sites indexed within 24 hours.

Could you have been penalised for some reason? Do you have duplicate content or could the domain have previously been owned by someone who followed bad practices?

Why don't you wait another week! I am sure your website will get indexed before then.
