How are these vendors selling movie, music, game 'downloads' via Clickbank without selling P2P software and guides ? Why isnt Clickbank removing them?

    Examples:

    http://www.moviescapital.com

    http://www.netiphonedownloads.com

    http://streamonlinemovies.com

    http://www.myphoneexpress.com

    http://www.hookedonfilms.com

    http://www.feedmypsp.net

    http://cinemadownload.com

Those are a few sites that Clickbank probably didn't notice. They will get shut down as soon as clickbank notices them.

Checked a couple and I'm not too sure why they are still there, they seem to be against the new TOS and I'm surprised to see them still operating.

MoviesCapital will not be removed as it obeys all the clickbank laws and it is a non P2P site in CB.

How is it not a site encouraging P2P ? It doesn't obey Clickbank law, it encourages use of P2P.

If they are not selling P2P guides, what are they doing? Hosting REAL movie downloads?

As per the MC, the site provides the movies directly loaded on their servers. You can get only DVD released titles not the latest ones.

Also http://streamonlinemovies.com/ seems fine as well, because it talks about watching movies, not downloading them.

So I think that's why they are still alive.

its legal if they have permission...
clickbank are pretty crap and probably turn a blidn eye to it going "hey you got permission?" and moviescapital is all "yeah heres a letter we faked up for you from the mpaaa"

and bandwidths no issue if you got a decent hosting package and tight ass codecs to shrink mvoies with..... $100 a month gets you some gooood bandwidth

    Hello Guys
    i work at moviescapital.com
i can guarantee that the site has a license to distribute the movies inside
    its members area.
moviescapital has no p2p software , all the downloads are from the site's
    servers and have distribution licenses.

the site is legal and it is here to stay , it is no coincidence that moviescapital is still in the clickbank marketplace.
moviescapital offers its customers both download and stream capability,
and has an ever expanding array of movies and everything is 100% legal.

90% of the site's sales are for the most expensive plan (unlimited movie downloads plan) which sells for $39.95 out of which affiliates get %75
we are also adding an upsell soon which will be "download to ipod" and give the customers the ability to download the movies in ipod format for an additional $9.95 (it will bring the sale value to $49.95).

i am more then happy to help out any affiliate who wants to promote the site.
we will be adding many affiliate tools soon enough and also have some cool
promo movies that affiliates can add to their webpage (checkout the moviescapital.com affiliates page).

if anyone needs help in promoting moviescapital.com
please send me an email to

    Seth

What's the refund/charge back rate for your service? Be honest now cuz we will find out in due time.

Do you have the bandwidth to handle a huge amount of centralized traffic/downloads? Nothing worse for a customer than to get a "Server Busy" error.

    Hi
the refund rate is entirely up to you.
as an affiliate if you do an advertisment like this one:
"Download '17 Again' and 2009 releases right now!"
then it would probably earn you a 20% refund rate.
as we have nothing to tell the customer regarding the fact that we do
not have movies that are currently playing in theaters.

if you put in an ad like this one
"Unlimited Movie Downloads. Download Unlimited Movies Legally Straight To Your Harddrive"
Then it can land you a 6%-8% refund rate.

I have been in my past a super affiliate for P2P (games, movies, music etc..)
so i know the market and i know the refund rate for P2P sites.
the refund rates are fantastic for the movie niche.

I would like to add that all P2P sites are going to be vanished from yahoo
search marketing soon (they are cracking down on them)
and we have an agreement with them regarding permission to advertise
    moviescapital on yahoo.

Regarding bandwidth do not worry , its not a problem.
    we expand servers as needed.

    Thank you

Thanks for your reply...but no, refund rates aren't entirely up to the affiliate.
One of the movie services I was promoting had an average refund rate around 18%, but that wasn't bad for that particular service because the volume with them was very high (last year $70K before refunds). Clickbank nixed them so I replaced them with another movie service that looked like they might work out and I promoted them according to what "they" (the new one) say they offer. Sales really slumped and the refund rate for that particular service is a staggering 36%! I was shocked!!! I can't promote a shoddy service like that. That's why I was asking about your service, nice web site you guys have but it has to go beyond just pretty looks.

Bandwidth and servers are actually two different things, servers are the computers that handle client requests and bandwidth is the size of your telco fiber pipe coming in (OC3, OC12, etc) so that would be two separate issues. (I was a CIO - Chief Information Officer for 12 years and I'm also Cisco, Novell and Microsoft engineer certified). Servers are easy to put together on the fly, increasing your bandwidth could take up to 6 weeks for the telco to provision it, in the mean time traffic to your site will choke if you're not already setup to handle a large volume of traffic.

Ahhh...Yahoo shut me down so many times already, at really peak times too!
I just figured out how to work around it and learned to live with it. I'm still going strong with them despite what Yahoo told me about promoting "unacceptable content". :p

Just sold 2 more of yours, that makes 5 MOVIESCPTL sales since April 18th and no refunds (yet)...certainly not steller but "could" be promising.

I started promoting yet another movie service this past Saturday (4/25) and I already have 14 sales/no refunds with that one...hmmm

Total sales for all movie services since Saturday, 36. That's not steller either but it's starting to come back since Clickbank nixed my number with their April 9th upset.
