Anyone experience with this situation? Please help. My friend lost his domain because someone back ordered it. What can he do now to get it back?

    Thanks.

If the domain expired and was subsequently acquired by someone else in that
backorder you mentioned, then your friend's only options are really to either
try to buy it from its new owner...or seek legal advice.

There are nothing can be done.
In fact you cannot take legal action against the new owner coz he not steal your domain.

Well, that's cheaper than talking to a lawyer. And that's if you even have any
    enforceable claim to begin with.

But then, only you and your friend can only answer that question yourselves,
depending how much the domain name is worth. If that $480 can be recouped
almost quickly, then that probably won't be a problem.

I'm sorry this is confidential information. I can only tell it's 15 chars domain word-word.com

Thanks Dave, I'm talking about PR4 site value, not a domain name value.

However, keeping the fact that its main language is Vietnamese... the ROI to buy it back is uncertain.

It does have some subdomain that generate revenue and backlinks. So that's the main value actually.

Will post more info when I have.
