I would rather use google chrome rather than IE. But FireFox is surely the best!!! IE always gives me errors no matter how upto date it is or what PC I am using.

that's like asking someone if they moved back to living in a cave after living in a house.

but i have moved to use crome as firefox is too bulky for my painfully slow computer

I still use IE. I have a friend who is a huge security analyst and he has told me that IE is actually a lot safer.

Of course one cannot uninstall IE, it controls the desktop and file system as well as being a browser. But, unless I have to use a site that insist on IE, I never use it. I have been using FF for over a year, tried other browsers too, but FF beats them all hands down.

I've got a better idea. Let's go with a real security analyst, the link in my sig, and see what he has to say.
The report you link to is flawed. It doesn't list ongoing vulnerabilities or show vulnerabilities broken out from those that were fixed within hours (compared to months on IE). IE has 3x more vulnerabilities than any other browser and as many as all other browsers combined.

I've went from IE to Firefox, then (now) have been happy with Google Chrome... it's just because it's nice and quick. :D

What about IE8? It is very preferable for site-testing.It includes either IE6 or IE7.just you need to press a button. but as for usual work I use FF and sometimes Opera.

If I make some changes to my website, that's when I'll use IE to view whether it runs well in IE.

No, to be frank this was wat happend to me.. When Mozilla came I never went back to IE. When Google Chrome came I have no time to awitch back to Mozilla.. But IE is my least priority browser.. I don like the interface. It take me back to old school days when we played making html pages..
