another good keyword tool is http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com also you can analyze all search indexing together in http://marketleap.com
For keyword research I use Google adwords tool, sktool, word tracker or keyword discovery. If you want to check back links, Yahoo is the fastest option, but Linkscape from SEOmoz is a more refined option There are loads of SEO tools around and many blogs explaining the various tools. I suggest you make some research on search engines too, good luck.
Some chrome and firefox stuff nofollow links in Chrome | Here's a simple trick to view nofollow links in Google Chrome. Just drag and drop the following button to your bookmark bar and hit it whenever you want to see links with the rel=nofollow HTML microformat Roboform Toolbar | Roboform (although only the trial is free) is an essential. It manages all your passwords and accounts, enabling you to setup different identities with separate sets of profile info and logins. I use roboform every single day. IE Tab | It’s important to be able to view websites in both browsers, as there are still sties that are incompatible with firefox and in general is a must install addon. Screengrab!| Every need a screenshot of something that is enclosed in a page or spliced images or part of a flash object? No problem, instead of having to save and edit images screengrab allows you to select any visible portion of the screen (or the entire page) and either dave it as an image file or copy it to the clip board. Extremely handy! SEO for Firefox | Massive tool that allows you to import all sorts of metric and data into Google’s search results. Everything from page rank to links to alexa ranking, to digg, to age of domain. Very useful for getting an overview of a particular website segement and doing quick market research in the competitiveness of keyword segements. PDF Download | Many links don’t warn you of the fact that they are going to direct you to a pdf. So sometimes pdfs load in your browser other tiems in external applications. This is a little extension that whenever it sees a pdf gives you a choice of what you want to do with it. I find it to be quit handy, because many times I didn’t know that the link I just clicked went to a pdf (lots of sites has usability problems) and this way I can immediately download it or loaunch an external program without messing with reloading the page. StumbleUpon 3.05 | Stumbleupon is a great social network that can send thousands of visitors to your site and your favorite sites. Once you start using it you’ll see why so many people are apart of the community there. I like to stumble interesting sites and occasionally stumble a quality article I wrote or one of my clients wrote. Google Toolbar | I like to be able to view pagerank and search from google via the tool bar. This is less useful if you’re using other plugins that do the same thing. Although page rank isn’t anywhere near as valuable as it once was, it’s still a good extremely general indicator of the link popularity of a site.
You could get in on the launch of iblbuilder.com - as a beta tester I can assure you its going to be big news for SEO.
Here are the tools I use or have seen in use: Google Adwords Tool | Kind of a staple if your in the SEO business. Great for finding estimated traffic for individual keywords as well as the overall market. https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal SEO Book Keyword Suggestion Tool | Gives you a way to check what you are seeing in the Google Adwords tool look valid. Another great option for finding those long-tail keywords. http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook WebCEO | Allows you to manage your sites and perform a whole host of functions such as competitor analysis and finding niche keywords. I use it mainly for checking my SERPs for the keywords I am targeting. You just enter them in a list, check the search engines you want to target and hit go. I use the free version as it does everything I need, but there are limitations. http://www.webceo.com/ Website Grader by HubSpot | Another way to analyse your site. I have only recently found this tool so can't comment on how effective it is. It gave me a couple of tweaks to make on my site which I did, but still waiting to see if they impact by SERPs. http://website.grader.com Krakken Online Marketing Tool | Here's a BIG BOY! Costing $1,000 per month it is well out of reach of us mere mortals. It is heavyweight tool for generating site blueprints, complete with relevant silos (based on LSI techniques). These blueprints can apparently be sold for $10,000 upwards. I wouldn't recommend this tool unless you have been working with traditional SEO for a while and know all the tricks. Then you will be in a position to decide if you really need this. http://themezoom.com/ FireBug for Firefox | Not strictly an SEO tool, but useful to quickly delve into the code of competing web pages and see how they are structured. (I don't know what I did before this tool). https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843
As search engines have added latent search indexing (LSI) to their algorithms, I like kwbrowse.com and kwmap.com Keyword density doesn't fool the search engines anymore. It's best to write naturally - this way your keyword still appears, but more importantly you use related keywords also. You will get ranked as long as your content is good.
The tool in my signature. I'm using it to make sure my links are still in place. http://www.backlinkmonitoring.com
thanks for very good sites. But I still miss a good tool for checking my keywords positions in Google Please help
