Just like the title says, I'm curious. Of course that also depends on the signature not only the post count. But I would love to hear some estimates. I'm guessing about at least 20 uniques daily right? with a good signature of course... Thanks
I can't really give any exact numbers, but I seem to get a little trickle of traffic every time I post. I am not an active poster at all (see post count), but it seems i get a bit just from that.
Yeah DP sig is pretty powerful... I like to hear someone who's actually has a post count higher than a 1000 though to see it's true potential

Ya, having a url like "thefuckingday.com" piques my curiosity, so I just have to click to find out. This of course makes a huge difference when you're trying to grab a little traffic.
More than the post count, it depends on how many posts the member is making in a day. other factors that determine the traffic are: -how attractive the signature is. -the anchor text and whether it is something interesting or not. -the section in which the posts are made. -how many links are there in the signature -the position of the link....whether it is in the beginning, middle or end of the signature. etc I won't give an exact number for the traffic, but I can tell you that getting 20 uniques per day is going to be very difficult unless to make more than 15 quality posts per day.
Are you telling me that with a post count higher than 5,000 you won't reach 20 uniques a day?!?? That can't be... I get about 2-5 uniques a day with apost count of 250 lol....
but you have 1 link in your signature and also I guess "hosting" is something that interests most members here. I have 4 different links in my signature.....may be their cumulative traffic does go to 20+ on some days.

The fucking day sig title is really impressed other people to click. The correct sig name will impress people and get more traffic over there.
It is not about quantity but quality. People will only interested on the signature from quality post member. I get about 40 traffic per day
i have no traffic from signature but in google,i use link;www.refinelighting.com they have two pages from dP but sitepoint have no backlink SP and DP they different?
I get very few clicks on my signature links. And the clicks that I do get, they have a high bounce rate - probably in the 70% - 100% range. Signature links can provide your site with a small stream of traffic, but its not enough to worry about.
Well that's pretty much obvious don't you think? The text is small and the titles are not catchy :/ ....
Different people get different amount of traffic. Some niches are more interesting than others, so traffic may vary. I only get 10 or so visitors per day from my signature.
you wont get massive amounts of traffic but i bough sig links from a few active posters and i got a resonable amount of traffic for how little it cost me.
Here are some traffic numbers from the last 30 days. These are straight from my google analytics account and reflect the traffic to my main forum. Source ---------- Visits google / organic - 136,436 (direct) / (none) - 88,089 yahoo / organic - 8,008 youtube.com / referral - 4,840 <insert 143 other referring sites here> forums.digitalpoint.com / referral - 50 Out of a total of 282,891 visits in the past 30 days, traffic from digital point accounted for 50 of those. And that 282,891 visits, that was from 1,197 referring sites. And to be honest, I'am not here for the traffic.
