Ok I found an end user for a domain name a DOT COM, this guy was real excited about this domain. He gave an offer and said "XXX and we have a deal". I said fine since I wanted to make a quick sale. 2 Days pass, and I email him again and ask if he is still interested. Hes like "Yes, im traveling and will take care of it tonight", its been 4 days now and I dont know if I should keep sending him emails, I dont want to scare him off. So how should I go about taking care of this ? Wait till he responds or ?

Btw this is a business website, and im pretty sure he will come through since all other TLD are taken for this extension, but I just dont know how to continue from here. Any advice ?

I used to go through that all the time with buyers...the old "I'm traveling" thing. It means that he is either stalling for time for many possible reasons.... because he doesn't have the funds, he is working another angle, possible on another domain...he is checking you out to see what else you own to get a beat on how much of a noob you are and see if he can work an angle...or it could just mean he is out of town.

I wouldn't email him again, and if you don't hear from him let it go. If he does contact you, wait a day or so before you respond.

An old trick is to see how desperate the seller is to gain control of the deal.
Stay in control, don't lower the price, and don't take any other payment options than the ones stated (Pay Pal, Escrow or what ever you agreed on).

If he starts wavering or changing the terms, say no thank you and walk away.

Desperation is how people get taken advantage of. Never need a sale that bad.
