No offence but is it just me? Without content ie: text, videos, images, there would be no webpages. Obviously content is "king". No offence to you personally but I just had to vent a little.

I really don't think it is any mystery. You have posts about a whole bunch of unrelated topics and frankly Indian movie making topics in the US and Canada are not of major interest. As a result of the first problem, you get totally unrelated ads in your one lonely ad spot. Make the posts per page equal to 1, post relevant articles that actually have ads for them and then put a large rectangle adsense front and center. Frankly, I think if you are going with the movie news theme, look for affiliate offers like movie rental or purchase services, that will do better.

I don't agree with the OP.

I have a website that is made of 5 pages (300-word articles), and it ranks in top 5 for a dozen of very competitive keywords. Of course, it earns a lot. Age of the website is crucial, along with perfect on-page optimization.

There are many other examples like this. Even one page sites rank high for some great keywords.

 

I've discussed with in details with tommygadget in this thread, we have 2 different approaches and both works well. Read the posts to find out.

 

I can give 2 more suggestions , at the very outset,

1. Update your site on a daily basis and work closely with webmaser tools from Google
2. Place your ad on the current place . 250 x 250 will be better for text data.

You will have to do some research to find a strategy

 

Good compilation, agreed it is kind of useful, but for people in the United States $10 a day is very pathetic, it is not appealing at all.
