Hi Friends, Paypal is a mystery for me: I have already paid merchant who uses paypal and paid them with my credit card WITHOUT EVER creating a paypal account. Now I have also a paypal account not tight to any credit card or bank account cause I don't want to for security reason, and so I try to create a link to accept payment by credit card but it forces the payer to register a paypal account. How to manage payment by credit card without forcing this registration as in the first case ? Thanks.
if you have paypal business account,I think your buyer should not have to login at paypal first and I think they already should not have to register at paypal.paypal already do that I believe
You should be a Premier or Business account holder in order to accept direct credit card payments. Otherwise you cannot. I beleive you should also be a verified member but I am not sure of that.
How did you manage to pay to a paypal account without having a paypal account yourself in the first instance? Since you were able to do it earlier, the rules might have changed as of now....imo Regards, RightMan
You should have a premier/business account Check this... https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_wp-standard-overview-outside
There is no way to do so. Since you want your client to pay to your paypal, then the buyer must register a paypal account so that he can paid you using CC.
This is wrong. The only way is to actually sign up for a Premier or Business account. Having a regular Personal account will result in them having to create a paypal account themselves in order to pay you.
This question has been answered many times already here. Simple search will get the answer. Anyway, a buyer does not need to be a paypal user in order to pay using cc on a merchant's site. When i say merchant, he/she is using a premier/business account.
