Hi, I have an adult dating site with over 20'000 users and every day 500 new sign up. I have around 7'000 UVs a day with 90'000 page impressions. The alexa rank is around 30'000. About 90% of the visitors are from the US, Canada or Europe. More than 90% is direct traffic. Female users are free but men have to pay a subscription from 10-30$ monthly if they want to contact a female. The problem is I have very few female users (perhaps 3%) and the conversion rate is very low (0.1%). I don't run any ads or affiliate ads (because obviously my own site is a network for dating). I thought about make my own affiliate program, but I cant copete with the payouts from AFF. Other things I could do would be put some blacklabe ads or AVN ads on the site, but I heard they pay very low (0.3 eCPM). Another thought was to put an afilliate shop on the site so I get some % from every buy that is made. Good would obviously be if there were more women that would write messages to guys so they would have to answer. So the earnings aren't bad, but I think I could do better. I thought perhaps some of you had some ideas. What should I do? What is the best strategy?
You need females, that seems like it should be your primary aim, in my estimation. Before I did anything else, I'd go find girls to sign up. Find out what women want from a dating site and give it to them better than all the other sites are doing... Try Yahoo Answers (even post your own question if you need to), scope the dating section of craigslist (could be useless if its still so spammy), find forums or even scope the lady bloggers.. maybe offer to exchange links with female bloggers. If you're not a woman yourself then find some outspoken women who'd be willing to offer their opinion. Hardwork and not as simple as SEO, but in the end if the women are happy and there (as in most economic decisions) then the MEN will spend the money. Hope those ideas help! You've got amazing traffic so capitalizing would help bigtime. Oh.. and maybe offer the guys a free membership if they're willing to submit a video of themselves (make it viewable only to female account-holders)... I would assume that'd get women to sign up!
You got amazing traffic. It will surely convert if you give right placements to ads. You can try some adult CPA, i am sure they are many of them, google them Good Luck
make a prenium part of the site and make them sign up to free web cam site to gain access you can get somnething like $40 per free cc join.

Pay to get more female members . Paid membership for male members is a good way to monetize your site .
