I'm seeing a huge drop with alot of my inner pages for a website of mine, i checked the Google cache and it has gone back to an older version of the website..? Anyone else seeing this, and is it just a matter of time before it goes back up?

There was a huge PR update that ran from last monday on. Many site owners have been posting in tons of forums stating that their PR dropped to 0, but in most cases went back to what it was. A few have reported drops and some have reported gains so it looks like it was a good update and from what i've read, it may be over, or getting close to being over.

in theory pr was based largely on backlinks, hence traffic would increase well it did solely though linking thanks to Googles tom foolery. In conclusion it doesn't directly affect serps but 8 out of 10 site with high pr will have high uniques . fact remains i still lost pr 5 and 80% of traffic. why?
