    gmail is my favorite because of its simplicity, but iam also a user of hotmail since this is where i got my first email account some 12 years back

    Yeah hotmail was 1st for everyone i guess
    Because hotmail came way back in 199X may be 1997 or so may be...
    And Gmail came in 2004 or 05

    I use Yahoo mail bcoz it work very fast with many features.
    And Gmail is also good but simple features.
    so i vote to yahoomail

    In mail Yahoo is always the best IMO. Webmasters are biased towards GMAIL. If you take a poll of normal surfers, you will surely find people prefer YAHOO much more.

    Hey this is good comment , i guess most people here choosing opting for GMAIL are webmasters , Well said !

    And yahoo is also good

    So now comments are also flowing equally for Yahoo and Gmail, Lets see who wins as we get more and more replies. Surprisingly no one is talking hotmail, microsoft must read this thread :)

    Gmail is probably the best. The only major limitation is their daily sending limit if you're an e-mail marketer.

    i use both yahoo and gmail quite extensively. and it depends from user to user and his or her requirements.
    yahoo messenger has those really superb smileys that make chatting lil interesting and gmail has better speed and other features like sending attachments lightening quick..
    both of them are gud. but fr an email gmail scores over yahoo.

    Yes agreed after reading this post one can realize that really ohh that ads and speed of yahoo makes it slow, but i never realized it before


    Anyways still the race is only between Yahoo and Gmail, We have left hotmail behind no ones is talking about it <-- MICROSOFT READ PLEASE
