With all the anti-Israel voices on this forum, and with the UN legitimizing Ahmadinijad by letting him head the council on racism as he denies the holocaust, I was wondering what the anti-Israel camp says about the following photos. Since I can't ask Ahmadinijad, I'll post my question here in the form of a poll. I'm most interested in the answers from the anti-Israel crowd.

To quote General Dwight D. Eisenhower, “Collect as much proof through films, testimonies, photographs. . .because the day will come when some son of a bitch will say this never happened.”. It seems we have quite a few on this forum, so it seems they should have the opportunity to review the evidence and provide their explanation. I see the "Real, but not evidence of the Holocaust" option is getting some votes. I'm wondering if those who selected that option could explain what exactly these photos are evidence of?

 

Looks like starvation to me, which isn't surprising since the US bombed the majority or railrods in/around the war torn territories.

I'd say they were real pictures of Nazi concentration camps.

 

Who knows if the people in the photos are Jews or not. Alot of these could come from Dresden, a large city where numerous civilians were murdered by US bombs...

The bombing of Dresden is common knowledge and published in our history books. The famine that normally accompanies war, also in our history books. These pictures are also in our history books, under the section describing the Holocaust. When I ask if you have evidence/details to back your claim, do you have evidence that shows the history books be wrong in this case? The history books also claim the majority of those people are Jews.

There certainly were concentration camps. Jews were rounded up in large numbers to work as slave labor. The photos are real. Millions died in the camps. It was very horrific and should never be repeated.

Obamanation, do you have any academic proof that there were "gas chambers" in concentration camps? I know millions died, but were they gassed to death, or did they die due to starvation or disease?

Like ink blots at a psychiatrist, many people will see different things.

I see freshly shaven heads, and naked bodies in the majority of the photos.
IMO, it looks as if they may have been recently treated for typhus which was an epidemic.
I can't say with any certainty if that played any role or not, but it is another possibility.

Starvation, Typhus, Genocide, who really knows...

Those people died because of disease, people who died out of gas would have stains on their bodies.

As the pictures presented here are more than 60 years old now, and these shocking deeds done by a banished party, I can't relate them to the current crisis at all and can not use them as reasoning for Israel to go beyond the 1947 borders, as given to them by the 'owners' of the land at the time, and fully supported by the rest of the free world.

I've seen many posts right here on DP giving side by side photo comparisons of Nazi attrocities circa 1920-1945 & Jewish attrocities from 1950's to 2007.

 

Ahmadinejad dosen't deny the Holocaust, he calls it a calamity but he questions the extent of it.

I don't see 6 million bodies there. The idiots (zionists) have lost my respect by milking such a horrible disaster to gain a political advantage with the state of Israel being created. And browntwn and the rest of you are just as guilty, for jumping on the bandwagon for using these people's suffering as a scapegoat to use for you're support of you're own political views.
