Anyone here use HostGator?

Amit convinced me to go with Host Gator (I was having trouble setting up my blog on GoDaddy), and it has been a great experience so far

Indeed, they are great for hosting blogs and far better when compared to godaddy hosting

 

Ya, I have been using them for a few mths now and so far so good. Switched to them from Godaddy.
Like the Fantastico and tools they offer which expedite installing applications. The Chat customer service is also quite fast and responsive.

 

The CPanel feature makes uploading plugins and such a breeze

 

Former client here. No special issue. I moved because i found 2/3 cheaper elsewhere. Their servers are well-managed, support is ok.

 

Wow . I must be the only guy that likes godaddy servers.............

I use hostgator, had a problem with my databases going missing, but they restored a backup. Other than that they are excellent. I might transfer some of my uk sites to them but I am unsure if geolocation of hosting will affect google much.

i've used hostgator since new year's eve
good stuff

 

Ive had a reseller account with them for a few weeks and i am getting frequent, short outages. Seriously unhappy, I need a top class host. They are down now for me (server carrera).

 

Cant even login to my WHM right now, piS*ed off. Anyway Ive asked for assistance but they will tell me all is well again no doubt.

I have been using HostGator for almost a half year and love the services so far. No problems with the host at full up time. Much better than where i was before.
