Hmm yea I also use sociable as a plugin. But what I think he is finding is a software which submits to all social bookmarking sites in jsut 1 click?

I would like to know about this also :D

If you want to use a plugin to your WP blog then search for the plugin. I recommend "share this" one plugin for almost all social networking sites. It works well with almost all templates.

Thanks for the feed back, no I'm not looking for a plugin, looking for software that submits posts to bookmarking sites and so on.

Something like this http://bookmarkingdemon.com/ but this one is to much money and they dont have a free trial.

Does that not create duplicate content though and a blog being outranked by these bookmarking sites?

Maybe so, but for now I need a means to attract traffic, when your a young blog with few or no resources this does help in the short term to achieve traffic. At least for a short period of time, if I had thousands of dollars like the big boys do then I might not use this method, but you gotta start somewhere.

I think he's talking about AUTOMATIC software, not something like Social Poster that required you to still submit to each site manually

It may create duplicate content, but it is actually no problem. Social sites will in most cases rank better than young unknown and untrusted blogs, but you can get lots of traffic from them.

Even though just for a short term thing, do you find the traffic is quality enough? does it result in readers, ad revenue maybe or is your intention more just to generate traffic to at least get some to your blog?

Are you doing the usual things like building backlinks? directory submissions, blog commenting and things like that?

I use Bookmarking Demon, which is expensive and not as good as it is cracked up to be.

It is good enough to use Bookmarking Demon, it's automate you site bookmarking...rather than nothing :)

I think you don't want anyone to install. You would go to digg.com and register.

I agree. I spent a lot of money on it and it doesn't do everything it says. I'm still better off submitting everything manually to do follow social bookmarking sites.

No real point in using software to do what you want. You'll just get junk links, although bookmarking demon does work for that purpose.

Look at the Social Bookmarking Plug ins. Then look at the sites that they link to. There are a couple dozen at the most and only the top ones actually pull any traffic.

Create a Spreadsheet and sign up for an account with the top sites. Then if you use Firefox load up IE7 (Load up the toolbars on a secondary browser so it doesn't interfere with your primary browser, no need to have all those toolbars and junk on your main browser), or get macro software, or some other way that you devise that makes it easy to log into the top Social Sites. And log your posts to those top sites.

You can have a 1,000 links from low qaulity sites, and spend all your time trying to get that huge volume of links, or you can focus on quality sites and get fewer links that will reward your efforts exponentially.

The NET already has plenty of junk. And you have to decide if what you are doing is quality or junk and make your choice about promotion methods.

I have both Bookmarking Demon 4 and Social Bot 3. I think they are both good and they both work. They are the time saving tools to create unlimited tons of blogs in just seconds!
Both of these programs use a lot of scuttle sites. I would recommend you bookmark only in moderation, especially bookmarking demon. It is best to grow at a slow pace. You will keep your accounts active as long as you don't spam. Also, I tend to bookmark sites other then my sites so it looks more natural.
