Biggest screw up in the first 100 days of any presidency and you think its too early to make a judgement? Need we go over the countless blunders he has made, promises he has broken all before the first 100 days?

Obama is more concerned about his popularity than making hard decisions to run the country. At the earliest signs of a popularity decline in the polls, he is off on a popularity tour to show us how much the world loves him.

Very true, though I think it is safe to say, after only 100 days out of office, Bush was the worst president ever.

I have similar feelings. But it is only 100 days, lets give him a chance to work things out.

That video was sooo cool! I had no idea Ashton Kircher was so politically active. I'm always thankful when actors are willing to share their opinion on politics. Given the extensive free time their salaries must afford them, and the often political and controversial subject matter they work with, I'm sure their opinions are formed based on insights not many of us are privy to. I think this is especially true in the case of Ashton Kircher whose brilliant work on "Dude where's my car", one of my favorite films, made it very clear he is one of the deep thinkers of our time. Sometimes, when I can't figure out what side of a complicated political issue to take, when it isn't clear which position will best benefit my family and I, I hop onto TMZ to find out what the consensus is in Hollywood. It's kind of like cliff notes for politics.

You were doing so well at your little game. I didn't think you would be able to keep it going this long. But seriously man, "Dude where's my car" - brilliant. You post some funny shit though, sad you are losing your touch.

I am sure 95% of the people reading your posts still don't get it. Ahh, the ignorant masses.

Uh. His act is *extremely* obvious. Sadly I have seen a few people here actually debating him as if he really has these views, but they are always conservatives... Which makes sense as it's conservatives who are so deluded as to think this character's ridiculous point of view is actually representative of how real liberals think.

I haven't seen liberals interacting with this clown because his act is obvious. Why is it obvious? Because it's clearly a conservative's stereotype of how a liberal thinks and thus completely devoid of any relationship to reality.

    EPIC FAIL.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Obamanation was you. And if so you really think way too highly of your own work. It's amateurish.

    ---

BTW, I put that clown on ignore quite some time ago. There's enough lunacy here without dealing with "opposite trolls."

Why because I'm the only one smart enough to pull it off? Don't flatter me, you're not the first to have such an amateur suspicion. Do we really need to get into this again?

It's not impressive. I'm definitely not giving you a compliment. And I certainly hope you are not wasting your time (and everyone else's) but as you are about the only person I see who seems impressed by this idiotic charade... it's a bit suspicious.

    ---

What's really amusing to me is how blatantly obvious this conservative as "liberal" troll is but I do not think the reverse would be nearly so obvious. I've brought this up before. There are people here on the right who are so out to lunch I really just can't imagine how anyone could mimic them in a way that would be less believable than what they are already saying. I mean I'm still shaking my head about the whole nuke Somalia thing. That's a real thing that a real conservative (an actual person, not someone pretending) here thinks America should do. That's just... There's no point in making up a "troll" version of this mentality. This way of thinking is it's own troll. That's deep man.

Ever watch Colbert? The right is made fun of all the time, it's not that hard to imagine. If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen.

The leftists here have taken that advice without me having to tell them though, evident in the threads they abandon once I've posted.

OK, I'm confused. Now I have fellow Liberals questioning my Liberal bonafides?
. Jesus, I read many of my own posts, and I read yours, and I grow concerned that people are going to suspect that you and I are the same person. You don't consider yourself a "closet conservative" or a "Reverse Troll", do you? Then again, you did choose "Fine Red Wine" over "Kool Aid" on the Fine Red Wine vs Kool Aid poll....

Another parallel. The few people I see debating you as if you really have your views are conservatives. What are we to make of that?

Again, we are on the same page. We need to stop badmouthing Somalia and start sending them money.

Zibblu, I don't care if you are a fellow liberal, that is just downright insulting. Nate is clearly a member of the racist, anti-government, cabal of social outcasts that are not helping to prop up the Obama regime. The only change he seems to be interested in is a change of our dear leader, preferably before we spend 10 trillion dollars on liberal social programs that help people like me. Programs that his unborn kids will have to pay for until age 30. Obviously if he can't understand why that is a good thing for our nation, he should look for residence elsewhere. Me personally, I'm on board!

I refuse to play your Chinese food mind games! That movie may be the best movie ever made, after An Inconvenient Truth and Fahrenheit 911 of course.

Colbert is obvious about the fact that he's being a clown. He's not *really* pretending to be a right winger. Everyone is in on the joke. It's a totally different thing. So the comparison isn't apt.

Furthermore, what does that have to do with what I was saying? My point is that the stuff neocons say in earnest here is so ridiculous that it would be hard to play the Obamanation game with them.

As ridiculous as the stuff that Obamanation says is, it's still not as crazy as saying "nuke Somalia."

Sure it sounds ridiculous, but do you think you come across any saner when you say America should adopt socialism, question the patriotism of others then go hypocritical and admit personal financial gain is more important than one's country, and then have the nerve to attack the capitalist strawman?

At least you're honest, I'll say that.

ncz-nate: You love misrepresenting other people's views. I've mentioned that time and time again. That's why you are so impressed with this clown's work. You think that's how liberals like myself actually think.

But most of us do not think like that at all. Time and time again I've said that I believe there's a place for the market and for individual wealth. I am not a communist and I'm not a full blown socialist either. I believe there's a happy medium between 100% free market capitalism and socialism. A place where people can be successful individually but where there are regulations to stop corporations & and the extremely wealthy from exerting more power than they should have. I consider both capitalism (in it's pure form) and communism to be extremes that are not good for society.

The idea that Barack Obama is a socialist is absolutely insane. It has no relationship to reality. 39% tax rate on the highest tax bracket makes this a socialist country... REALLY?? Even though that's substantially lower than it was through most of the 20th century?

I also think it's quite interesting that the last time tax rates on the rich were extremely low was the 1920s... Remember how that worked out? It's no coincidence.

    ---

Meanwhile: Barack Obama's approval rating is now at 66%. The "Obama is losing popularity" meme is looking mighty hilarious right now. Wake up and smell the coffee: The GOP is quickly becoming entirely irrelevant.
