For top ten in google?

On page and off page optimisation, less competition, and sometimes a brand new site will appear in top ten for a few weeks then disappear.

Depends what you want to rank for, maybe attempt ranking for long tailed keywords but they might disappoint you in the traffic that they bring.

Its as easy as 1, 2, 3..... Not work hard with no guarantee of it, or spend lots of money, with no guarantee of ranking either.

 

Build continuous quality content.

But seriously, I don't think increase in PR must lead to an increase in your SERP, which you claimed you want to "create site top ten in google."

But if you really want to increase PageRank, you may buy more relevant links from authority sites.

 

Higher Pr will put you at the top for your keywords. Look at keywords web design on Google. Check the pagerank of the sites going down. their is no way for a Pr 1 site to be at the top of this list. Also buying links will get you banned in Google. Their is no easy way to build pagerank.

 

Just try to feed your site with in content quality links. Try to go for more article submissions on quality directories.

lol to get a top ten ranking is going to take time. First thing you need to do is optimize your websites. make sure your pages are search engine friendly and have no broken links.

Second you need to find out what key words work for you. most of the sites ranked on the top pages already rank high with the best keywords. You need to find out which key words have high competition and maybe go with key words with less competition. For example if you have a social networking site and your targeting the keyword social networking, chances are you wont even be in the top 100 pages. To target such a big key word would mean you would be competing with myspace or face book for example. Targeting a less competitive keyword does not mean you wont get traffic. Its just the smarter thing to do. These big sites spend tons of money to stay on the top pages.

third you should start building back links. Try and get as many quality links as you can. Dont worry about how many, but try to be selective. One good back link of a page rank 5 would do much better then 100 or more back links of PR0

Try and submit your sites to quality directories and do not fall for a service that promises to submit your site to lets say 100,000 or even 400,000 directories. All they will do is spam your site all over the web and cause you to get banned from google.

There are tons of good articles about how to raise your rankings, just google and read as much as you can and your learn alot

Only in Google they have the algorithm. High Pagerank sites out weigh lower Pagerank sites and get higher listings.
