Twitter would be the biggest noob if they sell it.

Just imagine how much money twitter would make daily if they put adsense at the header of every page.

Well, you can't compare Youtube requirements to Twitter.

You should check your sources. Facebook is privately owned and Microsoft has some shares.

the folks at twitter should sell to me (I'll buy the company for $2) and I'll turn a profit just by putting some adsense ads on the site.

My vote for Google. This is for the future of Twitter itself.

Ebay/Skype would make a better acquisition. Then people could buy twitter credits with skype out credits. But basically their business model is unsustainable as it is.

Google is a smart company and just pounces on every opportunity available. You like them or you do not like them....but you can not do without them!

I like it's strategy to putting money to use, unlike MS which believes in hoarding up the cash! When will they learn to utilize the power of money?

I wouldn't mind if Google bought up Twitter. They buy up more or less everything anyways.

    Last time I check.

MySpace was wholly owned by News Corp.
Facebook was private with Microsoft owning just 5%
