How many clicks on avg to generate a sale?

    How many clicks on average does it take to generate a sale in Amazon? No item in particular...just a sale, can be anything.

    I've gone 300+ clicks without a single sale. Is this normal?

    it varies...

    i made a 7 sales in 34 clicks

    and then in next 100 clicks no sale..

    For the last three month, mine's around 7% conversion.

    It all depends on the context of the link. Whether you're just putting that link there or talking about the product of that link.

    it depends, overal this month I have 2.5% conversion and sometimes like priyankeshu said you can make sales in 10 clicks and then next days in 100 nothing

    Depends on the the traffic source, but I'd say 2-3% is a realistic value, at least that's out rate for the last months and we are sending 1k+ clicks daily

    I'm at a 1.86% conversion rate thus far in April 2009. It's amazing -- the other day, my birthday, someone bought 30 Strunk & White Elements of Style writing books thru my link in one day. Probably a teacher. I took it as a sign -- and a wonderful birthday gift!

    I've gone nearly 400 clicks and no sale, I don't know what's wrong.... :eek:

    But I've also gotten 7 sales in 10 clicks....(before).

    Over 390 clicks for the Amazon products (direct linking) since Feb'09.

    ZERO sales so far :eek:
