Google Site Maps

    Hi,

    How often do I need to update my XML sitemap that I have submited to my Google Webmaster account?

    Common sense is telling me that it needs updating every time I change my ecommerce site, such as adding our removing products.

    Can anyone please clarify?

    Obviously, as soon as you change the structure - add new pages or remove old ones.

    you need to get an automated plugin that cange xml file as soon as you post / modify

    Where can I find these plugins, as my webmaster wanted to charge me quite a bit for a dynamic site map feature?

    if your site is the blog under your nick name the you can go to wordpress.com and look for a plug in that will generate sitemap dynamically all of them are free and just download and put in the plug ins directory
    otherwise provide the url to your site

    I also use this service...

    I change Sitemap once a week, but probably that isn't good. :rolleyes:
