WordPress Ping List

Do we need to PING Everytime when we update our BLOG ??

on updation we should PING with the new blog post url or with site url only???

confused on these points.

Please help me out

Wordpress pings everytime you update your blog.

There are too many opinions on this to really come a clear "best choice"

You can choose pingomatic, or you can use a list.

I use Max Blog Press' ping optimizer http://www.maxblogpress.com/plugins/mpo/ on my wordpress blogs. This gives you the option to control the frequency of your pings and it tracks the ping attempts, success & failure.

 

Very True, no wait plugin is very important, in the beginning whenever i post a new article in my blog it always hangs, then one gentleman suggested me to us the No Wait Plugin.

I wonder if anyone knows a real up to date ping list, as the ping lists will give errors after a few days over and over again.
So it change the whole time.
