i have been doing it and get the link back but if i posted 30 comments ,its only one or two which are appearing in back link results.
That's a very useful method of gaining links from .edu sites. By the way is it really true that google values .edu or .org links a lot more than normal ones. I have heard this many times but with so many SEO myths out there I am not really sure. Anyone had any positive experience after gaining a few .edu links??
@imran - the backlinks take some time to show. Also, were your comments insightful, otherwise it is pos.sible that some comments were marked as spam or deleted. anw - not too sure about .org , but .edu is valued higher, partly because of the extension itself but more because edu sites are generally authority sides and have high pr.
