I am no luck selling a digital product at many sites, like sell.com or ioffer.com and try many classifieds sites like kijiji.com, gumtree.com, and craigslist.org.. even so i try oodle.com and facebook ads and myspace classifieds, no sale yet.. 2 to 3 month .. !! Maybe something wrong.. or maybe i am bad marketer !! or its bad luck !?
Do you have any sites created specifically for each one of those products? Check the one in my sig. It makes good sales all the time and is a custom designed sales site I made just for those products. After you do that, get the site(s) listed in script directories like hotscripts.com its free and brings list of traffic and sales. Check out this Script Directory List PM me I can give you some pointers or even custom design and market the sites for you.
Hi 313i, the website in your signature is impressive. Well done. Do you own these products? I noticed they have PayPal payment systems so apparently you are not in an affiliate program. That's a big Script Directory List. Can you recommend the best ones? Do you submit your sites to a top five, or all of them?
If I were you I wouldn't even waste my time with any classified websites. Especially MySpace or Facebook. What you have to realize is that those sites are specifically targeted for people to socialize at and keep in touch with bands and etc...They're not in a buying mindset. Even Google has a hard time coming up with a long-term strategy to monetize something like MySpace. It's Google we're talking about! Do you think an average marketer can come up with better ways than Big G? Anyway. My point is you need your own website or a blog or a Squidoo lens. Start researching products you might know a decent amount about. Visit Commision Junction (http://www.cj.com) Or Clickbank if you're set on digital stuff and start writing articles pointing them to your site or a blog. If you've got some spare cash, learn Pay Per Click and then go from there...
This is good advice, Alex K. I agree. But since Duperhost is not strong with English language skills, he would need to hire ghostwriters to create articles to submit to the article directories. It doesn't seem like he has a budget to hire writers or pay for PPC ads. I hope he can figure out a way to get around his handicaps, but it will be difficult...
Yes, Thanks A lot , But CJ.com I have no idea about the fees of CJ.com yet. I will try my best to have my website with CJ.com But will do a store I mean does not support CJ.com or click bank or don't know which is better. My comment on Clickbank it has problem with checks it has to be high price product to get a check. even so i am not sure i will get check by mail it may be lost !! I do not think amazon dose support digital products.
I think you need to make your informationattractive, user oriented. so people attract to click and good luck....!
313i, I would never believe you site makes sales... just a load of rubbish... as your site is one sec visitors site.
$100+ a month... Maybe you should rethink your idea of what you think a "one sec visitor" site really is and start doing some research into how to make a profitable site instead of doing uneducated reviews?
The most important part of any marketing campaign is understanding the customer. When you know what they want/need then you can present your offer. Just putting up ads about something isn't the way to go about it.
For many, not all, ads, FaceBook, MySpace, and especially classifies are just about worthless. In fact, with any product or service, online classifieds, other than CraigsList, do not work, period. There's part of the problem right there. Can't say much more without seeing your ads, and where you are placing them, anyway.
