They were just 15 passenger vans, although the same van in the Dominican Republic is considered a 30 passenger or more If the doors aren't still open and people aren't hanging onto everything attached to the van it isn't full yet!
According to some dingbat in P/R that Dominican thing could be considered racist I've seen people smuggle up to 60 "Mexicans" (footnote below) in one of these! Even in the dash: FN: Poking fun at stereotype, not meant to be construed as racist.
Well, who ever that dingbat is, is probably racist... typical. I love the Dominican people and I want to move there once our house sells. Funny what people find offensive these days. It will get to the point you can't describe anyone for fear of offending. "that lady with the blond* hair over there. What, I am being arrested for saying "blond*"? " There was a comedian that used the phrase "put a helmet on" for idiots who can't handle anything, especially today where they can't handle truth. Oh well, I am probably on the new list as a terrorist because I don't agree with socialism. *spell check says blond instead of blonde... did I already offend someone?
I tried to convince my wife of doing the same, that or Costa Rica. The thing I loved most about the Dominican Republic is the climate. Its consistently warm year round!!! God forbid we hurt someone's fee-wings (feelings). Ever hear me complain about the way Italians are portrayed in the movies and on TV? I suppose someone saying "motts a rella" vs., the proper moots a rella" is also racist. I cringe when I hear people call me "EYE" -talian. Seems to me that might be a bit racist. I know I'm on the terrorist list. I was just elected to President of the Jaycees. And we all know what a right wing group we are Probably. I digress... Sorry for segwaying this direction. My bad. Back on topic I'm finally getting a new exhaust system for my Vette. Here's and example of what it will sound like when completed: http://s216.photobucket.com/albums/cc198/mvette76/?action=view¤t=alicia011.flv I'm having two straight and continuous 2 1/2" pipe installed from the manifolds back to a pair of MagnaFlow muffelers. Its whats known a "TRUE DUAL EXHAUST". No converters, and other back preasure green loving tree hugging bs. Just pure raw power and large pipes. Nice sound, and a better running vehicle. Thank God I don't live in California!
You should visit once we get there. Sounds like a racecar. Cool. Great, now you mentioned California!!! That will have to be another thread!
No. But I did make it to the Detroit Auto Show. I found a Jag there, but they wouldn't let me bring it home.
I drive a modest Fiat Punto, but hope to buy another soon, it all depends on my future financial situation
