Best Google Ranking Strategies

Hi Everyone.

I am here after a long time, but i would like to request all members to add their best strategy to get ranked on Google.

Many techniques came over the past several years and most of them became obsolete after 6 - 8 months as Google tweaked the ranking algorithms.

Lets have a post, which will mark the best strategies, which seem to work at the moment.

I guess people will share it as most of us work in different niche.

My method is very unoriginal - directory listings

 

mine is unoriginal using original contents. lol

 

Do industry specific link exchange. It's really beneficial and avoid link farms.

Definitely will say the same. I have tested it on a couple of sites and it works like a charm (for now that is).

 

Be ethical - that's all, I say. If you use ethical techniques, you will be safe and easily achieve your rankings in a short time.

Nowadays google prefer relevant backlinks, and keyword in your domain names should help on your ranking.

 

I used link exchanges to increase PR.
Socila bookmarking to get traffic.

 

The basic strategy hasn't changed - the implementations have. It's always been a combo of building a wide array of incoming links, and make sure your content is optimized and relevant. The specific implementations of these are what evolve.

One of the best things you can do is to research your competitors that rank for the keywords you want to rank for, and then see who is linking to them, and try to get links from some of those places.

Make sure to not get set on one or two keywords or phrases and expect to get a ton of traffic - you won't. You need a wide array of rankings. Do your keyword research.

 

One day I got insane hits via social bookmarking and the next only a few. I don't rely on social bookmarking for hits.
